"See ya later then!" Daniela giggled and picked me up. "Off to the kitchen, we go, my little baker."

The trip to the kitchen was quick, causing me to hold onto Dani's arm once we stopped. "Too fast?"

I nodded once everything stopped spinning and sent her a smile. "Someone's excited!"

"Will a kiss make it up to you?"

"Always."

Daniela giggled and pulled me in for a kiss, her hands gripping my waist to hold me there. "You're sure you're okay handling blood for this?"

"I have to try at some point," I muttered against her lips. "Besides, I think I've kissed you enough that I should be fine."

"I think one more kiss is needed."

"Then who am I to say no? You're the blood expert here."

Daniela laughed before kissing me again, letting me wrap my arms around her neck. 'I still can't believe everything she's done for me,' I deepened the kiss — to her surprise — at the thought, a smile on my face. 'She learned to sign for me, she fell in love with me, she let me love her. But mostly; she lets me be myself.' A low moan left Daniela and snapped me out of my thoughts, making me pull back from the kiss.

"Now who's the excited one?" She teased as I moved back, trying to ignore the embarrassment I felt. "That was hot."

"I... I just — you!" I pouted at the loss for words, managing to make Daniela laugh again. "Wh-what do you wa-want to bake! Meanie!"

"Right! It's called Papanasi or uh... Cheese donuts."

"I think I have that recipe," I signed and moved to the recipe book. "Here it is!"

Daniela moved over and wrapped her arms around my waist again, peering over my shoulder to read the recipe. I noticed the smile spread across her face and felt my heart melt at her childish grin. 'She looks so happy — I'm glad I thought of this.' She placed a kiss on my cheek before muttering that she'd grab the ingredients, leaving me to read over the recipe some more.

'Sugar, flour, eggs, vanilla, blood-,' I paused for a moment before continuing. 'Oh, to replace the jam, got it.' The sticky note next to the recipe brought a smile to my face. '[Y/N], if you ever need this recipe, the blood needed is stored in the cupboard above the fridge — Cass hid it there as a punishment for me missing time with her to make it. :(' I giggled at the frown Isa drew before glancing up at the cupboards in question. 'Thankfully, that can wait.'

"Okay," Daniela breathed after setting the last ingredient on the island. "...Where's the blood?"

I pointed to the cupboard and giggled at Daniela's groan.

"Well, I know Isa didn't put it up there."

We laughed after that and I moved the book over to her, pointing at the first instruction. "Separate the egg whites from the egg yolks — they go in the medium bowl."

Daniela did as I read immediately. "Next is beating the eggs — you should do that... I'm still-."

I moved closer to her and slid my hand over hers, moving it to grab the hand mixer. "You can do it," I whispered, placing a kiss on her shoulder. "I'll help if you want."

"Uh... ye-yeah, I-I'd appreciate it."

"Three to four minutes, okay?"

"Go-got it."

I started the motion for her — making sure to keep my hand on hers so she didn't freak out. After the egg whites had a foam-like consistency, I slid my hand off of hers and grabbed the sugar, adding it to a separate bowl. Daniela did the same with the baking soda — leaving me to add the salt and vanilla. 'The cheese...' I moved away from Daniela to grab the cheese — not missing her pout when I did so. 'Heat thief.'

Once back in position, I added the cheese and leaned against Daniela's back, letting my arms wrap around her waist. 'If she's going to use this to steal my warmth, I can at least get something out of this.' I watched as she added the egg whites to the mix before adding more flour, causing me to lean back slightly when she began kneading the mixture. 'Okay,' My hands slowly slipped around and slid up her back, feeling her muscles flex as she continued to add flour and knead a bit longer before stopping. 'That was hot.'

"U-uhm... what next?"

I leaned over and read the recipe once more. "Now we cover it and let it rest for twenty minutes."

"Okay," Daniela shakily muttered, putting plastic wrap over the bowl. "Uhm... wh-what should we do for the next-."

Daniela stopped talking when I placed a kiss between her shoulder blades, bringing a smile to my face. 'That's why she's been so quiet,' I thought and planted a trail of kisses to her neck. 'She's been thinking about something else — but, we can't do that. Not this time.' My kisses stopped below her ear, making her shudder.

"I know what you want-,"

"I-I can wait," Daniela rushed out with a flustered buzz. "I just... you seem so confident in the kitchen, I couldn't stop the thoughts!"

I giggled and turned her around, nuzzling my nose just under her jaw. "That doesn't mean we can't make out."

Daniela lifted me and moved me to an empty counter, setting me on it before connecting our lips. 'Now that's hot,' I groaned into the kiss as her hands roamed — desperate to touch every part of me. 'I should let her know later how much I liked that. She likes knowing what I like.'

I let out a whine when the session ended despite needing to catch my breath and readjust my uniform. 'Yeah, she's still the excited one,' I giggled to myself, working on boiling the oil while she made the dough into what was needed. Time flew and before we knew it, it was time to add the 'jam', leaving Daniela to grab it for me.

'I can do this,' I told myself as I took the jam from her. 'We literally just made out, if I can't do this, I won't be able to look at her until I can.' With a deep breath, I began adding the jam and noting how jam-like the substance was. 'I can barely even tell that it's blood — the lady must've gone through a lot to make it perfect. I'll have to see if she can teach me one day. Learning from Isa won't be the same with this — I'm sure they'd agree. They had to learn it from her, I'm assuming, so they know it must be taught by the right person.'

"You did it," Daniela breathed as I finished adding jam to the last one.

"You helped," I pointed out with a smile, only to have her steal a kiss.

"I meant the jam, cutie! You didn't even flinch while adding it," She purred, nuzzling against my cheek. "I know it's probably difficult for you since you're human, but it means a lot to me."

"I guess having you here made it less creepy."

"So does that mean I get to help you bake more often?"

"I'd love that."
