I sat up enough to peck her lips with a smile. "A-amazing."
Daniela giggled and moved away before picking me up with ease. "Let's take a bath."
"You're gonna carry me everywhere from now on, aren't you?"
"Do you not want me to?"
"...Maybe not everywhere, but I wouldn't mind. I like when you hold me. Makes me feel safer."
Daniela's grip tightened for a moment as a smile spread across her face. "I'll keep that in mind."
I giggled as she set me down, letting me wrap my arms around her while she ran the water for us. Her arms snaked around my waist as she whispered for me to check the temperature of the water, causing me to pout and move an arm away from her. '...This is perfect, actually,' I thought before planting a kiss on Daniela's cheek.
"Perfect," I whispered before nuzzling against her cheek. "Like you."
A loud buzzing came from Daniela as a whine left her. "That's my line!"
"It was stolen by a mute," I traced on her back with a giggle.
Daniela and I laughed before she helped me into the bath, pulling me against her again once we were settled. I happily leaned into her, letting my eyes shut as my body relaxed. 'I'm glad she's fine with taking it slow,' I sighed happily when she began washing my body, her hands moving slowly to not disturb me. 'Dani... Thank you for loving me.'
My eyes fluttered open as a yawn left me, Daniela's hands having stopped their soothing movements. I watched her slowly rinse the soap suds off of my body, a sleepy smile spreading across my face. 'She's being so gentle — like I'm made of glass or something,' Our eyes locked before Daniela stole a kiss and giggled. 'Or she wasn't expecting me to still be awake.'
"So you didn't fall asleep after all? You were just ignoring me?"
'SHE WAS TALKING TO ME?!'
Daniela started giggling when my eyes widened, shaking her head while trying to settle her giggles enough to speak. "I didn't speak for long."
"What'd you say?" I signed with a pout.
"I just asked if you were sleepy — I got my answer."
"..." I huffed and kept pouting, fighting back the smile that threatened to rise when she leaned forward and peppered kisses on my cheek. "Okay!"
Daniela giggled against my cheek. "Well, the others should be leaving soon, so we can just go to bed after this."
"Good," I whispered, sighing happily when her arms wrapped around me. "I guess that means I-I should wa-wash you up."
"Hm, yeah, probably. If you'd rather not fall asleep in the bath, that is."
We giggled and she let me pull back, a yawn escaping me as I began slowly washing her up. Once I finished washing her up, she helped me out of the bath before joining me, wrapping a towel around my body afterward. I smiled and held the towel tight around myself, following Daniela after she wrapped herself in a towel and left the bathroom.
She handed me a nightgown and before long, we were both in nightgowns, cuddled close in bed. I let my eyes slip shut as Daniela rubbed circles on my back — the words she was saying fading into the deepest parts of my mind as sleep quickly welcomed me.
POV: Daniela
'Asleep already,' I internally cooed and pressed a kiss on [Y/N]'s head. 'I just hope you don't regret what we did when you wake up...' After shaking the thought away, my grip on her tightened. 'No, that won't happen. If she wanted me to stop, she would've said so. Stop overthinking it.'
"I love you," I whispered against her forehead before closing my eyes. "Thank you for letting me love you."
Morning
"Dani," [Y/N]'s soft voice pulled me from my slumber, but her body shifting caused my eyes to fly open. "Your fangs..."
'What am I doing?!' I quickly moved away from her neck, my eyes widening in shock before the smell of blood processed in my head. "...Are you bleeding?"
"No," She muttered and shifted closer to me. "You were muttering about needing blood."
"Someone's bleeding. I can smell blood," I paused and locked eyes with her. "...When do you start your period?"
"Next week."
"Okay, so then it's probably Isa," I sighed out. "Sorry, love, that won't happen again. I'll make sure to have wine nearby for the next two weeks."
"I meant to ask you about that," She giggled before resorting to tracing what she wanted to say onto my back. "So periods do affect you."
"Mm, yeah," I whispered while rubbing her back. "It's mostly if we're not expecting it — so usually in the morning. After that, we can ignore the urges and drink wine like normal."
"I thought that might be the case — otherwise there'd be a lot fewer maids. Speaking of, I should get ready for work."
"Five more minutes!"
"You're not the one that has to get up."
"I'm the one losing warmth," I pouted until she pecked my lips, pulling a smile over my face. "Fine, I'll let you go since you kissed me. But I expect cuddles before bed tonight."
"Always," She whispered before getting out of bed.
"Hey," I sat up and gently grabbed her wrist before she could walk away, signing my next words to her. "I love you, little baker."
POV: First Person
My heart skipped a beat at the words she signed, making me cup her cheeks and pull her in for a kiss before signing back. "I love you too, lovebug."
I stepped away after that, grabbing my uniform and slipping into the bathroom to change. Once dressed, I left and smiled at Daniela's sleeping form, making my way over to her to place a kiss on her cheek. After that, I slipped out of her room and walked through the halls, sending Isa a smile when I saw them. 'If Dani's right, they probably aren't happy right now. I can't imagine getting their period is good for their dysphoria.'
"Hey," I whispered once I was close to them. "Thanks for last night."
"It's what friends are for," They beamed before glancing around. "Dani told you, didn't she?"
When I nodded, they continued with a smile. "Don't worry, I'm fine for now. I could see the concern in your eyes."
