Opposite Hearts || Yn x Mattheo Riddle

Chapter 5

Yn pov:
I am exhausted.
Since the minute I arrived I was surrounded by girls wanting to be my friend. Everyone wanted to know all about my powers, as I am the daughter of a Goddess.

I became best friends with Beatrix, and a girl named Pansy. Even tho I am kinda mad at how Beatrix treated the girl who's name I found out to be Agatha, I couldn't stay mad at her. She is soooo sweet to me and I'm sure she won't treat Agatha like that again.
I also have loads of other friends like, Lily, Reena, Millicent, Kiko, and more.

I can't wait to get to my dorm and have a little rest before the Welcoming Ceremony. Everyone insisted I move to their dorm, but I don't know who's dorm I should choose, and I dont want to hurt anyone's feelings by accepting someone else's offer and not theirs. So I think I'll stick to my dorm.

I climbed up a pink glass staircase that connected all five floors of Purity Tower, spiraling in a carved replica of Rapunzel's endless hair. The door to my fifth-floor room has glittery sign covered in hearts: "Welcome Pansy, Agatha, Yn!"

I opened the door and saw massive, jeweled morrors glaring back at me from pink walls. Elaborate murals flaunted beautiful princesses kissing dashing princes. Arching over each bed was a white silk canopy, shaped like a royal carriage, and a glorious fresco of clouds blanketed the ceiling tiles, with smiling cupids shooting love arrows from puffy perches.

In one side of the room I seePansy standing infront of a wall staring at it deep in thought. She is twirling a stick in her hand, which I believe is her magic wand from the wizarding world, as she told me all about it. I also can recognize it as a wand, as I read alot.

On the other side of the room I see Agatha, crouched in the window nook, black dress bunched against pink wall. She is staring out of the window, looking at the sparkling lake around the Good Towers turn into sludgy moat midway across to protect the Evil ones. "Halfway Bay" was what it is called.

"Hi Pansy" I say happily
She looks away from the wall, and at me, then smiles.
"Hi Yn" she replies
"Oh, hi Agatha" I say looking towards the girl still crouched in the window nook. She is still staring down at Halfway bay.
"I'm Yn, its nice to meet you." I say sweetly, wearing a warm smile.
She looks up at me, as if confused to why I am talking to her.
"Hi" she mutters.
I smile even brighter. "Are you ok?" I ask walking towards her. " You dont look very happy."
"That's because I'm not supposed to be here" she says.
