Opposite Hearts || Yn x Mattheo Riddle

Chapter 20

Mattheo's pov:
We have been going to school for a week now. Yn spends most of her time at the Slytherin commen room, to plan our mission, or just chill. All the boys have their eye on her, which makes me really mad. I feel like I want to punch anyone who even looks at her.

Yn pov:
I share a dorm with Mia, and two other Hufflepuff girls, but I usually sleep in the Slytherin girls' dorms, with Pansy. The school is amazing, and its very difficult to navigate, sinve most corridors look the same. I've never seen a school like this. It's amazing! The food is delicious, the lessons are intresting, amd we learn magic! There are also loads of secret corridors and rooms that the Slytherin gang has shown me.

I've made loads of friends, and I'm already sad at the thought of leaving this school. I have friends from all houses. The golden trio, amd the Weasleys from Gryffindor.
Mia, Cedric, and some other girls from Hufflepuff. Luna from Ravenclaw, and of course the Slythering gang from Slytherin, and Sophie.

I'm on my way to the library with Pansy, because Tedros told me to meet him there, and Pansy is coming cause I still dont know how to get to the library.

I go into the library and see Tedros by a table so I make my way to him with Pansy close behind. He doesn't look happy.

"Um, hi Yn" he says " I need to tell you something"
"Okay, whats up?" I ask
"We need to break up"

Tedros' pov:
I asked her to meet me in the library, oh god idk if I can do this. I know this is gonna hurt her, but it's for the best.

I see her entering the library, and spot me. I take a deep breath in, trying to calm myself. Idk how to tell her this, I'm just gonna have to go straight for it.

"Um, hi Yn" I say, when she reaches me. I notice Pansy is behind her so I wonder if I should ask for her to leave, but I dont think she would. Well it's not a big deal that she is here. I can probably dodge her punches if she starts to fight me.

"I need to tell you something" i say
"Okay, what up?"
"We need to break up"

She looks at me shocked, then sad. I want to say something to comfort her but I'm nit sure what to say.
"Why, did I do something" she asks in a whisper.
"No ofc not, its just... Um, I dont think you are meant to be with me. I think someone else is my soulmate."
"Oh" is all she says
"Look yn, you are amazing, beautiful and the kindest person I've met, and I would love to be with you, but I don't think it's meant to be."
"Um, thanks" she says with a little smile.
"Plus there are loads of boys who want you" I add.

Yn pov:
I dont know what to say. I feel like my heart has been shattered into a hundred peices, but I guess he is right. Literally all the boys in the school want me. The problem is I dont want them.
"So, who do you think is the one" i ask quietly.
"Um, please don't call me crazy, but I think it's Agatha."
"Agatha, wow that's amazing." I say

Pansy amd I left and went to the Slytherin common room. I could feel tears in my eyes the whole time but I tried to keep them in.

"Hi, Yn, Pansy. Want to play truth or dare?" Blaize shouts over to us as we enter the common room. Pansy looks at me for a second and quickly replies.
"No thanks, maybe next time" she says and we rush up to her dorm.

Once we get there, and see it's empty because the whole of Slytherin is playing the game, I burst into tears.

Pansy sits there with me, comforting me, as I let it all out. She brings out her secret stash of sweets, and we watch a movie, to help me take my mind off it.

I'm really sad. I loved Tedros so much, and I thought he did too.
