Opposite Hearts || Yn x Mattheo Riddle

Chapter 13

Yn pov:
Dovey hadn't said anything to us while Riddles were talking with Lesso. She just paced around the room, and kept glancing at me, which made me a bit uncomfortable. Why did they call us here to talk, but weren't talking?
The School Master was nowhere to be seen, which was strange, as this is his tower and he wasn't supposed to ever leave.

Finally the door opened, and in walked Lady Lesso, followed by the Riddles. They looked quite puzzled, tho I couldn't be sure, as they always left their faces as blank as possible.

Lady Lesso walked up beside Dovey, who had stopped pacing, when she saw Lesso.

They stood there infront of us for a minute.

"Ahem" Lady Lesso started, clearing her throat, and drawing all the attention to herself.
"The Dark Lord is back"
My heart stopped beating, I think everyone's did.
"He's dead" said Mattheo in a cold voice.
"Was dead, he somehow came back to life, it seems" Dovey said.
"B-but hows that p-possible" I stuttered.
"We don't know"

Mattheo's pov:
At first I thought this was a joke. But the professors seemed dead serious. I didn't know what to say, how to feel, or anyhthing. I just stood there, trying to get my head round it. How can he be back? What's gonna happen? Why were we called here. Like only some of us and not the whole school.

"We also have some other news" said Dovey.
"Yn's fairytale was opened, she will be questing to defeat th Dark Lord".

My mouth dropped open even more than it even was.
My eyes flickered to Yn. She looled like she had seen a ghost. Her face turned pale and she just sat there.
"The Storian wrote the first line half an hour ago" Lesso said, motioning behind us. We all turned and saw the Storian, a gigantic book, with a sharp quill hovering above it.

"You all will be joining her on her quest" Dovey said.

Sure enough the Storian had said that we will be helping her.

"Camelot have sent you a ship to help you get to the Wizarding World. I know this must be alot to take in, but you all must leave as soon as possible" said Dovey

"But I thought only forth years were sent in quests, why are we being sent. What's so special about us. We haven't even learnt alot of magic yet. You cant really be letting Yn go on a quest, she could get- could get-kil-killed" Pansy blurted out.

"Yeah, you can't actually be letting us go. That's you know who we're talking about, he'll kill us all in a second" someone else blurted out.

We all started shouting and getting angry. It took half an hour for us to except that we had to go and there was nothing we could do about it. We were being forced to our deaths. Tho ofc Dovey and Lesso said that we weren't going to die and that the Storian wouldn't send us there just to die.

They told us that there must be something special about us, that we were being sent. But I still couldn't believe they were sending us. I was worried. For Yn.
