Timeskip to Welcoming Ceremony
Mattheo's pov:
Each school had it's own entrance to the Theater of Tales, which was split into two halves. The west doors opened into the side for the Good students, decorated with pink and blue pews, crystal friezes, and glittering bouquets of glass flowers. The east doors opened into the side for Evil students, with warped wooden benches, carvings of murder and torture, and deadly stalactites dangling from the burnt ceiling. As students herded into their halves for the Welcoming, fairies and wolves guarded the silver marble aisle between them.
I sat down on a wooden bench. I had a blank look on my face, and my eyes flickered around taking in my surroundings. They flickered to the Good side and stopped, staring at a drop-dead gorgeous girl. She was giggling sweetly with a girl who I recognized to be Pansy Parkinson.
We had attended Hogwarts together and were in a gang that everyone feared. It was called the Slytherin Gang. All of my "friends" had attended Hogwarts and then been transferred to the School for Good and Evil. Most of us were in the School for Evil, only Parkinson and Berkshire were put in Good.
Anyway back to the cute girl. Only one word. BEAUTIFUL. And I mean beautiful. The most gorgeous girl I had ever laid eyes on. Everything about her was amazing. Her sparkling innocent eyes, her warm, dazzling smile, her perfect body, and waterfall of glossy hair. She had caught everyone's eye. All the girls from Good were chatting to her, or staring at her with envy. Even the Evil students couldn't help but glance at her in amazement.
I got a little annoyed at everyone looking at her. I wanted her, and I was going to make her mine. I felt a little bit of anger boil in my stomach. I was a Riddle, I can't be falling for a girl. But no matter how hard I tried to pull away from my gaze I couldn't. It was like she had a spell on me or something.
Suddenly, sounds that every Good girl had wanted to hear their whole life, and sounds that made them bold upright, echoed through the hall. The sound of the stomp of boots, the clash of steel-
The west doors flew open to 60 gorgeous boys in swordfight.
Sun-kissed skin peeked through light blue sleeves and stiff collars; tall navy boots matched high-cut waistcoats and knotted slim ties, each embroidered with a single gold initial. As the boys playfully crossed blades, their shirts came untucked from tight beige breeches, revealing slender waists and flashes of muscle. Sweet glistened on glowing faces as they thrust down the aisle, boots cracking on marble, until swiftly the swordfight climaxed, boys pinning boys against pews. In a last chorus of movement, they drew roses from their shirts and with shouts of "Milady!" threw them to the girls who most caught their eye.
When the boys had entered everyone had gone quite, and stopped looking at the girl, except me. I couldn't take my eyes off her. I tried to keep my face blank to not show anyone my feelings.
All I saw from the boys entering performance was that they had thrown flowers to girls, I would think they found most attractive, because the beautiful girl had found herself with enough roses to plant a garden. She was blushing heavily, and smiling cutely, as she thanked the boys, and gave them warm, happy smiles.
Her smiling made my heart light up, and I had to try hard to not smile myself at the sight. But her receiving thise roses also made a fealing boil up in my stomach. I felt like I wanted to kill anyone who looked at her, or espesially gave her a flower. Was I jealous?
