Harry's pov:
The shock of losing Mad-eye hung over the house on the days that followed. I was very desperate to start the Horcrux hunt but couldnt do anything yet as Yn and I, both had the trace on us.
"Well, we cant do anything about the-" Ron mouthed the word Horcruxes "til you're 17. You've both got the trace on you." He indicated to Yn and I as we were the only ones who weren't 17 yet.
"And we can plan here as well as anywhere, can't we? Or" he dropped hus voice to a whisper "d'you reckon you already know where the you-know-what's are?"
"No" I admitted.
"I think Hermione's been doing a bit of research. She said she was saving it for when you two got here."
Yn, Ron and I were sitting at the brrakfast table, Mr Weasley and Bill had gone to work, Mrs Wealsey had gone upstairs to wake up the girls, while Fluer had drifted off to take a bath, and Sophie was probably doing her unnecessarily long, and weird beauty routine.
"My trace will break on the 31, Yn's will break a few days after that, so we can leave right after her birthday-"
"After the wedding. We've got to stay for the wedding. They'll kill us if we miss it." Ron interrupted.
I understood 'they' to mean Fleur and Mrs Weasley.
"It's one extra day" said Ron, when I looked mutinous.
"Don't they realise how important-?"
"Course they don't" said Ron
"They haven't got a clue. Also mum's been trying to get it out of us all, she'll try you two next so brace yourself. She's determined."
Ron's prediction came true, and after I had confirmed that we were going off somewhere, Mrs Weasley had kept us so busy with the wedding preparations, that we hardly had time to think. After some time I started to suspect that the jobs she gave us seemed to keep us away from one another, I had barely had a chance to speak to any of them alone.
Timeskip:
My birthday had come and gone, and so had Yn's. It was now the day of the wedding.
At three o'clock, Ron, Fred, George and I, were standing outside the great, white marquee in the orchard, awaiting the arrival of the wedding guests.
All four of us were clutching seating plans, so that we could help show people to the right seats.
A host of white-robed waiters had arrieved an hour earlier, along with a golden-jacketed band, and all of these wizards were currently sitting a short distance away under a tree and I could see a blue haze of pipe smoke issuing from the spot.
Behind me, the entrance to the marquee revealed rows and rows of fragile golden chairs set either side of a long, purple carpet. The supporting poles were entwined with white and gold flowers. Fred amd George had fastened an enormous bunch of goldem balloons over the exact point where Bill and Fleur would shortly become husband and wife. Outside, butterflies and bees were hovering lazily over the grass and hedgerow.
"Oh blimey, brace yourselves- here they come, look." Said George.
Brightly coloured figures were appearing, one by one, out of nowhere at the distant boundary of the yard. Within minutes a procession had formed, which began to snake its way up through the garden towards the marquee.
Exotic flowers and bewitched birds fluttered on the witches' hats, while precious gems glittered from many of the wizards' cravats; a hum of excited chatter grew louder and louder, drowning the sound of the bees as rhe crowd approached the tent.
"Excellent, I think I see a few Veela cousins" said George, craning his neck for a better look.
"They'll need help understanding our English customs, I'll look after them..."
"Not so fast, Lugless" said Fred, and darted past the gaggle of middle-aged witches heading the procession he said "Here- permettez-moi to assister vous" to a pair of pretty French girls, who giggled and allowed him to escort them inside.
