Chapter 37 The Potters Part 2

Yn's pov:
Once I mounted my broom, sitting behind Lupin, I looked around at everybody and ee all shared reassuring smiles, or thumbs ups.

"Be careful everyone and good luck!"
Shouted Moody.
"See you all in about an hour at The Burrow. On the count of three. One... Two... THREE."

There was a great roar from the motorbike a few feet away from me.
Then I felt myself rising through the air fast, my eyes watering slightly, hair whipped back off my face. Around me other brooms were soaring upwards too: the long, black tail of a Thestral flicked past. Higher and higher we climbed into the sky-

And then, out of nowhere we were surrounded. At least 30 hooded figures, suspended in mid-air, formed a vast circle in the midst of which the Order members had risen, oblivious-

Screams, a blaze of green light on every side: I gave a yell as the broom rolled over. I lost any sence of where we were: street ligjts above me, yells around me, I was clinging onto the broom for dear life. Luckily seconds later Lupin managed to turn the broom back up.

The broom sped forwards and I looked back to see hooded death eaters scattering as we blasted through their circle.

Mattheo's pov:

It had began. The Order started appearing through the night sky and we surrounded them. My eyes flickered to each one, I had to find Yn. But how? They all looked like Harry, except for the Order members who were leading their duo.

Everyone blast off into seperate directions, my father followed one team, and I knew I should follow to make sure nothing happens to the good side, but I wanted to find Yn. Luckily I saw Tom follow our father, so I looked around at the teams, then I spotted Lupin and a Harry behind him on a broom. Something about the Harry just felt different from the others. I could sence it was her, so I followed.

Yn's pov:

I started casting spells at death eaters, not killing curses as I wouldn't be able to produce them. I didnt want to petrify them either as they would then fall to their deaths, so I disarmed them as it was the only spell I could think of.

I then saw a hooded figure slide to my left, a bit behind me but closer to me than the others. My eyes widened in fear, but then the figure's finger started glowing black. Even tho it was dark I could see the glow as it was somehow shimmery. I knew at once that it was Mattheo and I sighed in relief, tho that relief soon disappeared when a few more death eaters appeared.

I started shooting spells at them and Mattheo dropped behind a bit. I sent a few spells at him, but made sure that they would miss him, just so it wouldn't seem weird that I'm not shooting spells at him.

Lupin shot spells time to time, but it was mostly me as he needed to steer the broom, and was also trying to shake some of them off our tail.

I heard Lupin make a startled noise so I looked infront of me for a second, but when I saw what was happening my eyes stipped staring at the sight as I gasped.

All the other teams were being chased to the same place, we had all noticed it, everyone's faces filled with worry. As I was looking ahead of me, momentarily forgot that I was supposed to be protecting us from the death eaters.

I was however reminded when I got crusio'ed in the back. I screamed in pain, but the pain only lasted for a few seconds.

I looked back and saw a death eater falling off their broom amd plunge into the darkness towards their deaths. I looked around and saw a hooded figure. I knew that was Mattheo as I could now see a few strands of his curly hair peaking out of the side of his mask. He had sent the death eater to thier death. A smile spread across my face as he had just saved me.
