I sigh in relief, as I take the hat off, and walk to the Hufflepuff table. From what I've read, Hufflepuff seems like a great house, but from what my Slytherin friends say, it sounds horrible. Draco even says he would have left if he was put in Hufflepuff. Was it really that bad? Would me being in Hufflepuff affect my friendships with my Slytherin friends?
Lost in my thoughts and worries, I dont hear that I got the loudest clap yet. I slowly look to the Slytherin table, expecting my friends to be mad or disappointed, but they are standing up, clapping as loud as they can, cheering my name.
A big smile forms onto my face at the sight and I wave back at them. Then I notice Mattheo sitting, he is also clapping with the rest, smiling, which suprises me as he never smiles, and he didnt clap at anyone else. Even everyone around him looks at him in suprise.
I turn back to the Hufflepuff table to see the while table cheerimg at me, holding their hands out for me to shake, and gesturing for me to sit with them.
Then someone grabs my arm pulling me down to sit. I turn to see who pulled me.
"Hi, I'm Mia" said the girl "Hi, I'm yn" i say smiling at her kindly "Yn in like the daughter of Athena?" She asks. "Yeah" I nod Her jaw opens in amazement. So does everyone elses as whispers start filling the hall. I get nervous amd look down.
"Tedros" (idk what his last name is) I turn around to face the front, and see Tedros walk up and sit on the stool, as the hat is placed on his perfect gold curls.
Lots of people start whispering things like "King Arthur's son" and "omgg he's so hot". I look around to see most girls, if not all, gazing at him, with a lovey look. I get a bit jealous.
"Do you know him?" Mia whispers "Yeah, he's my boyfriend" I reply, annoyed at everyone for staring at my boyfriend. "Oh" she replies plainly and looks away. After a few seconds the hat shouts- "GRYFFINDOR!" I smile, and stand up, clapping loudly. He walks by and winks at me, and I smile back. Everybody notices this, and I get a few nasty looks from some girls, others shrug their shoulders as if they expected it.
Then suddenly food appears on the table, and everyone starts to eat. Everyone talks to me the whole time, and I become very good friends with Mia.
An: I just wanted to clarify that they did not change schools to Hogwarts. They are just there so that they attend classes and learn magic to defend themselves, and when they have thought of a plan they will go on the mission amd not come back to the school.
