You've got my attention, babe

And now I know how

Cause the moon don't shine like that on it's own

Breeze, I'll take you right, in your zone

You got tonight, but you act like you don't

Just so you know

(ON II U -  Alex Isley)

"Ivy Aponi Sioux, it's been a week. You know this is not how we live." Isla scolded with a pout before she sighed "Hold on let me add Yara and mom to the line."

Immediately, Ivy put her hands out to stop her sister as she fiddled with her bra.

"Oh please no, look I called you because you've always been better with this wardrobe, date thing."

"DATE?!" Isla shrieked as she sat up, no doubt shocking her husband who was sleeping beside her "Sorry babe, Iv give me two seconds to move. I can't believe you'd drop that on me like that."

Slightly amused by the spectacle, Ivy chuckled before her panic sunk back in. She'd left work at 12 PM and unleashed absolute havoc on her closet as soon as she'd gotten back in.

Wanting to be her best, she'd taken a shower and freshened up, applying her favorite perfume Angels Share by Killian. She'd done her normal makeup routine and now at 12:45 she was scrambling to put together an outfit.

"Okay so first off, who's the date with and where are you going?"

"Jordan Poole and I don't know, he's surprising me. He said I didn't have to dress up and that I could keep it cute and comfortable but what does that even mean?"

"Jordan freaking Poole, Ivy.... JORDAN FREAKING POOLE. I thought you said that was nothing!" Isla huffed again before dramatically flopping back on her couch "You have been holding out on me and now you call me to bail you out, you've got some damn nerve."

Ivy blocked out her sister's tantrum as she scoured her closet for her favorite pair of green cargoes. Once she'd retrieved them, she resurfaced and sighed holding up two tops to pair with it.

"Look La, I'm sorry but everything happened so quickly. I feel like I just got here yesterday"

"Because you literally just did bitch has it even been two weeks? This is fast."

Ivy stared at her sister incredulously.

"You've got some nerve talking about fast when you married a man after staying with him for less than three weeks. Now, which top do you think is better? I know he mentioned we may have to walk a bit, so I'll probably pair it with my Nike dunks."

"Touché, do the black one with your back out, it'll offset the shoes and give sex appeal. I hate the green top, I always have."

"The green one was mom's" Ivy defended quickly but Isla's face remained straight.

"A cross-generational tragedy then. Any who, hurry and put it on so I can see it."

"Fine." Ivy quickly shimmied into the black body suit, pulled on her cargoes and then put on socks all while her sister watched in amusement.

"You even straightened your hair; you're putting in effort."

"And that means?"

"You like him, you never called me to do this before for a guy, not with Bryn, not even your first date with Darius."

"Well, with Darius I didn't know when he asked to go to a movie that he meant it as a date so, I was relaxed. We were friends first anyway and Bryn met me at a children's party where I was doing face paint for his sons might I add. Jordan is unchartered territory."
