I'm done with you
And baby, I promise, I'll be what you wanted
But now, and here
Heart took some damage, I wish I could vanish from

Jordan hadn't expected his world to erupt the way it had in the past four hours. The ride home was the loudest silence he'd ever known. Ebony had suggested they call it a day for that session, and she'd given them each individual homework. His was to tell the whole truth on Ivy's time. He had no idea what Ivy's was, but she hadn't met his eyes once the entire ride.

When he pulled into their driveway, he looked over surprised to see that she hadn't budged. A sigh escaped her lips, nearly made her entire chest cave before she looked at him and shook her head.

"How do we walk in there?" She queried and now he realized where her head was. She was thinking about their daughters. How would they protect them from the awkward energy that existed between them now?

"We can talk about it out here first, if you're ready."

"I'm not" Ivy admitted before she placed her face in her hands "If you wanted to talk, why didn't you do it months ago? Jordan you never even thought to mention it."

"It didn't mean anything, I pushed her away as soon as I realized what was going down. I made it clear to her that I loved you and only you."

Ivy nodded, a wry smile coming to her lips.

"I'm sure but you're missing my point Jordan. You keep hiding these things as if you're guilty. Do you seriously not see the issue with this kind of dishonesty?"

"Dishonesty is a stretch- I didn't bring it up because it didn't matter; it was a non-factor and we were going through so much. I didn't want to upset you over nothing."

"ITS SOMETHING." Ivy shrieked shocking herself and him as her feelings bubbled to the surface "If it was really nothing, you would have had no issue just coming clean about it. It's like Kim and those gifts all over again."

"That was years ago." Jordan surmised and Ivy nodded.

"Yeah but yet here the fuck we are again."

With that said, Ivy swung open the passenger side and got out of the car. Jordan allowed her to go about five paces ahead before he followed. He'd brought this on himself, but he hated how hard it was to reach Ivy when she was hurt. She put up walls so quickly, he'd have thought she'd learned to let him in by now, but she guarded herself so quickly.

As soon as he walked through the door, tiny hands gripped onto his right leg before his daughter's small voice travelled to his ears.

"Dada, up up – movie time." Blyss Ava raised her tiny golden-brown arms up to the sky and Jordan immediately swung her into his embrace and kissed her cheeks.

She was his twin, same big bright yet sleepy eyes, chubby cheeks, and goofy smile.

"Hey princess, I missed you." He inhaled her scent and hugged her close, finally feeling grounded since the truth had shaken him. His daughters were everything to him.

"I missed you too. Wish wish dada" Blyss practically demanded, and Jordan chuckled as he followed where his daughter was pointing to- the living room. Walking over with her, he found Ivy popping the DVD in with Logan on her hip.

"Pooh your movies in babe" She called out, her voice devoid of any annoyance.

"I'm here mommy, dada too." Blyss replied back as she wriggled around in Jordan's arms before he sat on the couch and their daughter laid comfortably against him.

Blyss had fallen in love with the movie Wish the first time they'd shown her. Her rotation of choice normally consisted of that, Princess & the Frog, Encanto and The Little Mermaid. Due to this Jordan and Ivy knew the discographies back and front. Sometimes Jordan convinced her to watch other Disney movies, but those ones had a special place in her heart. Ivy would typically bring out snacks and they'd watch together but the mood was different today. Ivy passed the toddler her stuffed Valentino plushie before kissing her forehead.
