If you're down, don't hide it
Feelin' me, you don't gotta deny it
Baby you gon' make me overnight it
Tell me, are you down?

The small amount of light coming through Jordan's window cast a pattern over Ivy's brown skin. Her once perfectly curled hair was now in a mess all around her as she shifted in her sleep. Moving her leg, she found her thigh resting on something solid while Dwayne Wayne's voice resounded in the background.

Blinking twice, she opened her eyes and found herself on a comfortable dark blue sectional in an apartment that was not her own. What had happened last night?

Jordan had opened her door for her before they began their journey. As most things were closed, he'd driven her across the golden gate bridge, pointing out things in the distance. With each thing he pointed out, she found herself completely relaxed in his presence.

Soon, they turned around and headed back to the city. They managed to catch Insomnia Cookie right as they closed and ordered a dozen before they went back to his place. He had a two bedroom apartment in Mission Bay.

As soon as he'd opened the door to apartment 610, Ivy was shocked at how clean it was. Two cats peaked their heads out and meowed possessively at her. In a matter of seconds, one brushed against her leg to capture her scent. The other was a bit more cautious, keeping a watchful distance.

She knelt and petted him before he practically jumped into her arms. She snuggled the cat, reveling in its softness while Jordan watched with a small smile on his face. He laid out a blanket and turned on the TV.

"Kai is friendlier than Kota. It seems like he likes you."

"Well, he's a good judge of character then" Kai motioned to lick Ivy's face, but she dodged him expertly before placing him down "You're cute Kai, but not that cute bub."

Jordan just laughed before he held out his hand to her from the couch. He'd already began to dig into the cookies. She paused to take off her heels and then moved forward, allowing him to pull her into his lap. He had a different world loaded up already.

"You're seriously about to watch this right now?"

"We're about to watch it" He corrected, passing her a chocolate chip cookie "So you can stop looking at me crazy."

"You deserved that look and I'm not apologizing for it." She defended.

"Fine but don't hate on me trying to educate myself."

"You're right, but you should know the first season is lowkey the worst. It gets way better afterwards."

"Luckily I got tomorrow off so, we can do this."

Ivy shook her head before she laid back into his side.

"You're going to watch all six seasons of this show?"

"Not tonight, but eventually. Let's see how far we get. Either way I'm sure I'll enjoy the company." He wrapped his arm around her waist, and she turned into him, resting her head on his chest.

"I'm sure you will. Hands off my ass though Poole."

"I can't make any promises. You sure you're comfortable like that? I can give you a t-shirt or something."

"Why does that seem like a set up?" Ivy watched him warily and Jordan rolled his eyes before pulling a face.

"If I wanted you out of your clothes, I'd put more work in than that ma. I'm just thinking about you. Lowkey I should change too before we get into this."
