Fires and flames, are in your eyes I wish that I didn't burn so much Fires and flames, are in your eyes and I wish that I could put you out
Ishmael stared at his phone as he took in the Instagram pages of his long-lost daughters. From what he could see they were filled with the basic fodder of the early twenties. Revealing clothes, parties, and posts of men he quite frankly found to be anything but impressive.

Turning to his niece, he probed her with a sharp look.
"And you said Isla is married to this...actor, if you can call him that?"
"She is" Priya's voice was small, it typically became that way whenever Ishmael addressed her. From the day he'd swooped in and adopted her following her mother's death from lung carcinoma she realized her uncle was not an easy man. He was hard like steel, and he ran a tight ship.
The only soft spot he'd seemed to have had been for Junie. Priya never understood it but while Isaac lived under expectations, Junie got to be freer, make mistakes, work as a barista of all things.
"Pity, she's made it permanent. How about Ivy? I see she's posting with Jordan Poole."
"They've been an item for the past few months from what I gathered. They just got back from a European vacation."
"Noted." Ishmael's tone made it clear that this didn't impress him either "Then there is the older sister, she married your first love didn't she?"
"Don't even go there uncle Ish, it was a high school romance."
"Was it?" Ishmael grinned before he shrugged "You and Quincy made a nice pair. He followed you around like a puppy. You may be right though from what Sean tells me Yara is due soon. Breaking up a family wouldn't fit with our image. That ship has sailed I fear."
"It's been sailed, matter of fact it's at the bottom of the ocean next to the titanic."
"Dramatic but I wouldn't expect anything less. Still despite your convictions, it doesn't mean we can't have fun with that past detail tonight. Everyone will be in attendance, including Al."
