I'm just tryna make sense of this

Wasn't waitin' for somethin' else that I could fall for

I wasn't wishin' for a love like this, no

You're openin' up for me, so I can

Ivy was in bliss, after four beautiful days in Spain she struggled to remember any stressors that existed before she'd hopped on that plane to Europe. Jordan had kept his promise. After his morning practices he'd been present.

On the third day they'd taken a day trip to Girona, Figueres and Cadaqués. They went through the urban labyrinth of Girona's historic center, viewed the Pont de les peixaterie Velles bridge and marveled at the River Onyar that it was situated next to. Even more breathtaking was the Temps de Flors Festival, typically held in May for nine days to celebrate the beginning of Spring. The festival had been postponed due to a flood, but the residents still demanded the show go on, so it was now hosted in July for just this year to celebrate resilience. 126 floral arrangements were scattered throughout town, across steps making it the most breath-taking display Ivy had ever witnessed. She thought Jordan would officially ask then, but he hadn't. Nonetheless, she fell in love with the town.

When they had to leave to the next destination Figueres, she couldn't shake the previous display from her head. Considering that Figueres was an artistic haven, that was exceptional. In the town they took in sights like the Castle of San Fernando and the Dali Theatre Museum where they learned about Salvador Dali while admiring his artwork. J2 seemed to appreciate this part the most. After he and Ivy chatted for hours about the various paintings, they all took their free time and put it toward trying delicious Catalan cuisine.

Their last stop was more of the cool down after such a flurry of activity. Cadaqués was a dreamy fishing village with idyllic views and sleepy charm that touched each of its narrow streets. They viewed the impressive church of Santa Maria and artistic relics of medieval times before sitting seaside and sipping sangrias. Jordan pulled Ivy into his lap and held her close as they took in the sea breeze before being called back by their tour guide. The entire trip was a ten-hour long affair, but Ivy didn't regret one minute of it. Hell, she'd even enjoyed her normal back and forth with Ralen.

On the fourth day they toured Costa Brava, along a beautiful coastline that allowed them to explore the medieval clifftop village of Tossa de Mar. Escaping the hustle of Barcelona was exactly what she needed. They visited the famous Botanical Gardens in Blanes before sitting down for an authentic Spanish lunch at a family-owned restaurant. After a filling and delicious spread, they wandered the cobblestoned streets to the lighthouse where they got yet another breathtaking view of the coastline before exploring old town and coming upon streets lined with whitewashed houses. When they returned to Barcelona, Ivy tried to not feel sad that this leg of the journey was coming to an end.

Today, they'd flown to Ibiza and with the party atmosphere and Jordan's friends tagging along there was no telling what kind of energy would follow. Ibiza was an athlete's dream, a groupie's playground and the nightmare of many wives and girlfriends who couldn't be everywhere.

Once they checked into Nobu Hotel and settled into their Presidential Suite, Ivy ventured to the rooftop terrace and looked out at the stunning view of Talamanca Bay before calling Isla.

As per usual, her sister answered on the second ring.

"And she's alive ya'll!" Isla exclaimed earning an eye roll "Girl don't do all that, if you hadn't been sending me photos, I would've had to fly over there myself. So, Jordan finally released you?"

"You're dramatic, I've been texting you this entire time and Jordan's fine. He's downstairs with the boys on the other terrace."

"Damn so they couldn't even let the man have a romantic vacation in peace?" Isla queried and Ivy waved her off.
