Ivy reached out across her golden silk sheets and felt around for her boyfriend. Sighing she opened her eyes and stretched. He was nowhere to be found and it was another morning where she'd woken up before the sun but that was routine. Now, in the absence of her rigorous work schedule, she found that the work of being a mother and significant other piled. To top it all off, she was still contending with the fact that she'd given birth to their daughter just two months prior. Since the day she'd entered the world, Logan Brie Poole was a ball of sunshine but some days even her smiling face or her sister's bubbly laugh wasn't enough to allow Ivy to shake the blues of post-partum.

Nonetheless, her home didn't run itself, so she twisted side to side to wake her stiff bones and slid into her yellow Ugg bedroom slippers before walking out of the master bedroom.

Their home was virtually new, they'd moved into it following Ivy's reveal of her second pregnancy. They wanted their children to have a yard to play in, privacy to grow and space to thrive. It was all Jordan's idea and Ivy had agreed because she hadn't had those things until later in life. Blyss, their oldest had an affinity for nature and all things outdoors. She was like her father that way.
