The bar scene wasn't nearly as bad as operating the floor. With Isla at her side, Ivy found they made quite the team and due to their faces, they had no shortage of customers coming in. Jordan hadn't arrived yet but based on the way Kayla was weaving in and out of the crowd, there was no doubt that he'd be making his grand entrance soon.
She probably should've called him back or responded to him on instagram, but everything had happened so fast. She knew she'd see him here so she waited.
"Stare at that door any harder and you'll scare off customers." Isla quipped as she poured a cosmopolitan and passed it to Ayesha Curry.
They were working VIP, Kayla stated they were too good to put down in gen pop but really Ivy knew that she and Isla were orchestrating like they always did. Turning to her sister after serving up a long island iced tea to Klay Thompson, she smirked.
"So, you're going to tease me all night or what?"
"Something like that" was all Isla said, she tugged her skirt down before she looked around the space "birthday boy is a bit late ain't he?"
"Yeah, probably making an entrance."
Almost like she'd summoned it, Kayla suddenly stood at the balcony's edge with a microphone which she tapped twice to get everyone's attention.
