Sky James in the MM
----------------I walked down the hall with my heels clicking. "Boy you so special, I don't mind being disrespectful." I sang as I slid my hand down the wall of this expensive ass hotel.
"Room 702, presidential. Mmm." I studied the door. My suite was on the 4th floor. My photoshoot wasn't that long today but it was still 8pm when they were done.
I was in Las Vegas, Sin City. I never knew a place could be so beautiful. So much shit happens here and no one ever knows. I like to think that anything was possible.
I want so much more out of this here. Modeling little things here and there weren't helping and being a video girl got me no where but hurt.
I looked down. No 'Do No Disturb' sign. It was weird to say the least but, I knocked on the door hard. "Housekeeping." I sang out. I really wasn't trying to use my key card out and use it. It takes the fun out.
"I don't need my room cleaned tho." I heard a slight accent but decided it was a challenge. "Please, I need to clean you up." I moaned into the door so that no one could hear. Why the fuck was Garrett giving me such a hard time.
"Look, ma I swear I don't need shit cleaned." A tall lanky figure with vibrant tattoos and a bottom grill stood in front of me looking at me like I was a piece of trash. The tattoos on his body made me want to drop clothes right there.
"You're not Garrett." Was all I could manage after staring for a while. I but my bottom lip forgetting the Rihanna Rouge I was sporting. It was always my favorite whenever I came to see him.
"Miss what are you doing here? You lost or somethin' ?" His accent was apparent and his eyes never looked down. I was slightly offended. Everyone needed to see what I had.
"Nah, I think I'm right where I need ta be." He stared into my eyes for a moment and turned around. "Trav? Ya sent her here?" He began to chuckle looking for whoever the fuck "Trav" was. I assumed that Garrett would come out and it would be a joke.
"I don't see why you think someone sent me. I'm no call girl. If that what you're fucking thinking." He began to laugh harder. What the fuck was so amusing? Am I some joke? Where the fuck is Garrett?
"Look ma, Trav said he don't know why ha here so I'm gonna close the door now." He closed the door in my face. How the fuck was that possible? I turned away as I heard my heels clicking. That's all that could be heard. Inside my head was a different story.
"How could I be so stupid? He doesn't even love you, Sky. You still come here and fuck him in a hotel suite because you think that he's gonna leave that girl for you?" I whispered to myself.
I made it to my floor and walked right up to my room and took out my phone. What was going on was something I needed to know I hate being embarrassed.
The phone rang twice and a hushed Garrett answered the phone. "Sky?" I nodded as if he could see me. Helpless I was to this man that wasn't gonna change. I figure since he couldn't see me nod I would speak. "I went to your room. Some light skinned nigga was there. What the fuck is going on?" I got loud. It wasn't like I was wrong.
"Sky. I'm at home. I cancelled the trip. I thought you would've called?" He said with general concern. I heard rustling of some sort and then a door close. I knew he was in the office.
"It's Cathy's birthday. I have to be here. We need this. I can't afford you apartment and shit if me and her go south right now." I heard this story all the time and tonight after being embarrassed it was the last thing I wanted to hear him say.
