Hope is the only thing stronger than fear.
Jang-Soo's POV:
"And you, you better not do anything stupid if you don't want your pretty little girlfriend to be someone else's dinner, and I must say, they are hungry."
While the rest of our group were seated, huddled around the table, all lost in their own thoughts. I paced the room, the men's words replaying in my mind and refusing to stop. I felt nothing but a gurgling, growing bubble of rage as I stood there, furious, my fists balled. And as long as Su Jin is still stuck out there with those jerks, I couldn't sit still.
They touched her!
They tried to undress her.
And I just stood there, watching her, doing nothing.
She called my name.
What if they try doing something to her again.
Everything inside me was gripped by primal fear, I couldn't bear the thought that it was even a possibility. So, I shook my head, driving away these unwanted thoughts. They stirred up anger and fury inside me.
"Let's just realise them."
Tae Man was first to speak, ending the painful silence, and waking me from my stupor. And as we all looked at him, he finished. "There's no other way."
"Then what!"
"Do you think they will let Ae Seol and Su Jin go that easily?"
Hee Rak interrupted, expressing exactly what I was thinking. He was correct; it's preferable to avoid endangering Su-Jin and Ae-Seol's life because we can't be certain that they are telling the truth.
"All of us will be in danger." Yeo Jeong said.
But I only cared about saving Su-Jin from those people, regardless of the danger I would face. I once again, remembered how that perv had his hands on her and I had the sudden impulse to attack someone or something, so I clenched my hands and pounded the metal cabinet next to me.
"Fuck!" I hissed, but it was out of rage rather than pain. The others merely gave me a sympathetic glance without saying anything.
Suddenly, as if what was happening wasn't enough, the sphere detector went off in my pocket. I took it out and looked it over.
