- KISSING IS GOING TO HAPPEN GUYS
•●●●●●•
The clear, night sky concluded our eventful day. Around an hour passed before camp was finally set up. Several tents perched next to one another, a campfire glowing eagerly, showering the site with its comforting, warm light.
"I'm so hungry. Yesterday porridge, today porridge.." Sonrisas held a pot just above the flame; bland porridge boiling within it.
"And tomorrow porridge." Blacky nodded, his stomach churning with hunger.
"Gross.." I cleared by throat, fighting back nausea with just looking at the porridge, "I don't miss making that every day."
"Say Y/n you were a cook." Panda continued, "Can't you make this taste better?".
"I can! I'll gladly do it...if we were in a kitchen." I crossed my arms, replying in quite a sarcastic tone. How did they expect me to make that taste better out here in the wilderness?
Sonrisas and Blacky sighed. Panda said nothing, only letting out a stern 'Hmph!'
Meanwhile, Azulin hid behind a nearby boulder, teeth sinking into the sweet, blueberry dessert his father gifted him earlier.
Crumbs and blueberry filling scattered across the dewy grass, a satisfied smirk apparent on Azulin's expression.
He was selfish. Meanwhile everyone else starved, he was satisfied for tonight.
With a sigh, I sat on a log, quite relieved that after such a tiring day we could finally rest.
Starved, I was forced to eat the revolting porridge. Forcing spoonfuls into my mouth was no easy task.
"You seem like you're enjoying your dinner." Azulin sat beside me, taunting my very apparent distaste for the porridge.
"Want some? I know you'll love it." I held the bowl inches from his face, a mocking grin tugging at my lips, "I haven't seen you eat anything".
"I.." Azulin's eyes narrowed at the bowl, "I'm not hungry."
"More for me, yay." With a monotone voice, I continued devouring the porridge, until finally it was completely gone. It left a vulgar taste in my mouth, but at least I was no longer hungry.
Azulin stared, feeling his heart thump rapidly, "You should get some rest Y/n, tomorrow will be an even longer day."
"Don't remind me." I turned my head, my (e/c) pupils making direct contact with his.
The way the moonlight glimmered on her (f/c) fur made Azulin feel a certain way. The way her soothing voice parted from her tongue, and those (e/c) eyes! This, and so much more made his heart flutter. Azulin felt like he had the right to have her.
For some moments, we stared at one another, the silence never being broken. My cheeks flushed pink. Then, inch by inch, Azulin neared his face closer. Our hearts thumped, the gap steadily closing, until...
Out of nowhere, Gordi runs by chanting "No!..No!". He's visibly shaken by something.
'He ruined the moment.' Azulin scowled, turning to glare at his brother.
