"Hey, don't push her!"
Then they were on each other's throats. Claws bared, Gordi tore through the tattered fabric on Azulin's uniform. After a constant barrage of sweat, blood, and mud over the days, the fabric peeled off like paper.
With a growl, Azulin swung a powerful right. His clenched fist made contact with poor Gordi's cheek, "Ah!"
Using my elbows, I sat myself up, (e/c) pupils observing their every movement.
It looked like they were both letting out pent-up anger from over the years. It seemed as if this was Gordi's first time standing up for himself.
And Azulin? Well, his motives could be described as nothing other than pure jealousy. Since birth, their mother had always favored Gordi over Azulin.
This hatred is precisely what drove him to kill her. But that didn't fix anything. Even in her last moments, Azulin knew that no matter what, he'd be second to his brother. So, for as long as they've known each other, Azulin always assured to be better than Gordi at everything.
No matter the cost.
Drawing his arm back, Gordi drove his fist right into Azulin's cheek. Leaving him no time to recover, Gordi used his claws and tore through Azulin's opposite cheek.
The force knocked the helmet right off of Azulin's head.
"Tch.." Uncontrollable fury seemed to cloud Azulin's senses. He lunged forward, his knuckle slamming once more into Gordi's face with a solid 'cruch'.
Then, without a second thought, Azulin tackled Gordi to the ground.
"Hey!" I quickly scrambled up to my feet. Rushing over to them, I felt a wave of adrenaline sweep over me.
Azulin got a good hold on Gordi and pinned him to the ground.
'THUMP' 'THUMP' 'THUMP'
They continued to hit one another.
"Get off of him!" My fingers curled around the fabric on Azulin's shirt. With enough force, I managed to yank him right off of Gordi. We both staggered back.
With a huff, Azulin turned to look at me. Those piercing blue eyes seethed with anger, "Getting brave now, hm? I'm going to make you regret that."
His face slid into a malicious smirk. He lunged forward, and using all the strength he could muster, he pinned me up on a nearby tree. My feet dangled six inches off the ground, and he held my wrists over my head in one hand. "I love seeing you like this." His body pressed up on mine, his breath hot and heavy on my earlobe.
