The girl continued to sob in Azulin's embrace. Warm tears mixed with the icy rain pouring from above. "This shouldn't have happened." Y/n dug her face deeper into his shoulder.
A vicious smirk lingered, arms tightened around her. Dark, twisted thoughts loomed in his sick mind.
The way she cried, the way she turned to him for her emotional needs was exciting. If Azulin played his cards right, he could mold her to his liking. An obedient, submissive Y/n all for him.
His embrace grew more firm, and now it seemed too tight. "Ow.." My shaky voice whispered, but Azulin did not let go. This hug was like a prison I couldn't escape from.
Despite the shock from losing not one but two of his crew members, Coco took quick notice of Azulin...and that cunning smirk.
"That's enough Azulin." Coco approached, seeing how the tight embrace was beginning to harm the girl.
Azulin snapped from his sinister thoughts, blue eyes now glaring at Coco "Can't you see I'm holding her? Look at what's happened!"
Coco furrowed his brows, "You don't fool me Azulin."
"Hm?" My ears perked up. What did Coco mean by that? His words echoed in my mind.
A deep growl rumbled within Azulin, I heard it. To ease down the tension I had to take matters into my own hands.
"I'm alright now Azulin, thank you." My (e/c) eyes glanced at him, soft voice like silk to his ears. Still Azulin glared at Coco, a sense of rage hidden within those vibrant blue eyes. That gaze was terrifying!
He held me close, arms digging into my very frame. 'Who does he think he is? Y/n and I are none of his business' Azulin thought.
"Azulin!" I repeated.
After some moments he let me go. A wave of relief washed over me, finally I was able to move and breathe properly.
Coco said nothing, he took one final glance before turning towards the oncoming commotion.
Then Azulin took my hand in his, giving it a gentle squeeze. I gasped, body trembling not just from the chilly rain, but from him too.
"Do you see, Son? God can never wait. I warned you, Y/n warned you! The book warned you." Father spoke with fury, "The book you desecrated, that you spat on and rejected before God, the Almighty Father."
Thunder roared furiously, as lightning darted through the dark sky. Flashes of blinding light occasionally lit up the forest.
"No! No!" Sergeant Caricias was on his knees, guilt overcoming all his senses.
"It's your fault! You're not worthy of bowing down before God." Father continued to reprimand Caricias, voice shaking with unbridled anger. The crew stood by, each terrified and jaws hanging low.
"I didn't know." Caricias cried out, "I'm not worthy! God please forgive me, forgive me!"
Seeing the Sergeant on his knees crying hysterically was...unsettling. Our leader, the head of this crew was reduced to tears.
