- "Still nothing? She's not awake yet?"
"No, Doctor. But her vitals are stable, so it could be any day now."
- "Good. I'll be sure to let the higher-ups know."
"I sure wonder what they've seen in there."
- "..."
- "Going by their injuries, they've seen nothing more than hell itself."

A soft, morning light filtered through the curtains, casting a gentle glow upon the sterile hospital room.
Y/n lay motionless on the crisp white sheets. Tubes and wires snaked around her body, connecting her to machines that monitored her every breath and heartbeat.
With a gentle push, the door creaked open. A nurse stepped into the room.
"Morning." She said, but as expected, got no response.
The nurse approached Y/n's bedside. Her eyes fell on the several monitors, their screens flickering with viral signs and data.
"Ngh.." Groaned Y/n, her fingers twitching ever so slightly. Her eyes remained shut.
"Oh, you poor thing." With a sigh, the nurse smoothed out the blanket covering Y/n, "I could only imagine what you both have been through."
No response.
The rhythmic rise and fall of Y/n's chest was accompanied by the sound of labored breathing.

A surge of panic coursed through her veins, causing her heart to race. The monitors beeped relentlessly.
"W-W..Where..am.." Y/n could barely speak, her throat was far too dry.
"Doctor! Doctor!" The nurse hurried out the room, "She's awake, tell the others! Tell him!"
Y/n was confused and disoriented. Memories began to flood in, but not all at once; Training. The forest. Her crew. Coco.
Azulin.

"I've been out for days? But, the last thing I remember was.." Y/n clutched the soft sheets, "..falling."
Bruises and tender scratch marks marred the once smooth canvas of her (f/c) fur.
"Hm." The Doctor sighed, "Yes, it's thanks to the Almighty that you're still alive. But.."
