Laughter and chatter filled the room. Yet Azulin and I stood by his bunk, his face inches from my own. Panda and Sonrisas exchanged glances with a smirk, "Hey Gordi, look at that. Seems like you're going to be an uncle one day soon."

Gordi glanced at his brother and Y/n, a smile following, "Oh no they're just friends! Azulin told me so."

"Sure doesn't seen like it.." Achuchones grinned as the rest of the crew teased.

He could say all he wanted, but deep inside Gordi didn't believe his brother. As a matter of fact, he was glad that someone caught his attention. Maybe, just maybe, it would change him for the better.

I cleared my throat, my heart quickly beating as he stood so close "Yeah, um! W..What did you want to show me?".

Azulin blinked; he had made up that lie to cut off Y/n and Coco's conversation.

His pupils darted left and right, "I wanted to show you..this!" At that moment, Azulin reached under the bunk, pulling out a thick book from underneath. He mentally sighed with relief.

'I remember that' My mind raced to the events from the night before, when Azulin walked in with that book.

"Father gave this to me." He ran his palm down the cover, a glint of hope twinkling in his eyes, "Whoever drinks the blood from the last Unicorn will be beautiful and eternal."

My eyes widened, jaw dropping, "Woah..". Never in my life had I heard of that prophecy.

"Only once special bear will have this privilege" He continued, "And it'll be me." Azulin sighed, a hopeful smile tugging at his lips.

"As long as the War ends, I'm all for it." Staring at the book once more, my gaze turned to Azulin. Ambition filled his expression. He observed the book, blue pupils not once leaving it, like he was in a trance. 'I'm going to fulfill the prophecy, then I'll be a true hero. Then, neither Coco nor my own brother will be better than me'.

I smiled and broke the silence, a yawn soon following, "I appreciate you sharing this with me Azulin. I'm going to hit the shower, it's been a long day."

Azulin's bright pupils moved from the book, up to me, "You do think I'll be the chosen one right?".

For a moment, he admired her, yet awaited her response.

He seemed serious about this, so who was I to discourage him?

"I'm sure it'll be you Azulin." I responded, watching his expression contort with a mixture of pride and joy.
