Still having a tight grip on her arm, Azulin pulled her swiftly around the back of a nearby building.
Hidden from prying eyes, this secluded spot usually remained untouched by the bustling soldiers of the camp.
"Did I not make myself clear?" Azulin forcefully pushed her against the cold, cement wall, "You clearly don't care about the power I hold and want I can and will do to those who rob your attention from me."
Azulin closed the gap, his body pressing up against her.
"Azulin! The Corporal was just being n-"
"You will limit your communication with the Corporal."
His low, angry voice filled her ears. His body shook from the anger.
Y/n was filled with fear.
She knew Azulin was not a force to be reckoned with.
"Look." She muttered, her breathing shaky, "The Corporal was merely being respectful. Please, do not harm him."
Azulin pressed her further into the wall, "His safety should not concern you. I'm all you should care about. Got it?"
Y/n turned her head, her eyes darting to the side as she deliberately avoided making eye contact.
Fear coursed through her veins, turning her limbs to jelly.
"Y/n, look at me." His hot breath tickled her (f/c) fur.
But she didn't turn.
His patience was no longer present.
"Y/n." Azulin repeated, his voice dripping seething with fury.
With a swift and forceful motion, his hand shot out, grabbing the soft fur on the back of her head.
Azulin jerked her head, forcing her gaze to meet his.
"Look. At. Me."
Each word dripped with an eerie, chilling tone.
Her (f/c) eyes locked onto him, and her pupils dilated. A sharp pang of pain shot through her as he tightly held her fur.
"Ah..stop." Her voice trembled.
With a sly smirk, he retrieved his gloved hand, "Stay still."
Lifting up his mask a little, a fraction of his mouth was unveiled.
Most of his face was still concealed beneath the mask, save for a mere glimpse of the crimson, tattered flesh on the right side of his face.
Y/n tried to take a closer glimpse, but Azulin shot her a glare, "Look into my eye only."
Beneath the many layers of arrogance and conceit, there existed a flicker of insecurity; his face.
No longer was it flawless.
Now he looked like a damn monster.
