After Jun Wu picks up Xie Lian from school, he takes him to his martial arts teacher for the afternoon.
After a whole session of training, Xie Lian arrives home and runs as fast as he can across the yard, his heart racing with excitement. He is eager to get home and talk to his mother about martial arts, and also mischievously ask if he could play with Shi Qingxuan who asked him at the school gates if he could play after school closes.
As he enters the house, he runs straight to his mother's room and finds her sitting at her desk, going through some papers. She looks up as Xie Lian enters and smiles at him.
"Xie Lian, how was training today?" she asks.
"It was great, Mama! I learned so much about martial arts," Xie Lian exclaims, his eyes shining with excitement.
His mother looks pleased and asks, "What did you learn about martial arts today?"
"I learned about different fighting styles and techniques," Xie Lian replies. "I was particularly interested in learning about Chinese martial arts, like Wushu and Qigong. I think they are so cool!"
His mother nods in agreement and says, "Yes, Chinese martial arts are very interesting and effective. They have a long history and are deeply rooted in Chinese culture. Would you like to learn more about them?"
Xie Lian nods eagerly, "Yes, please! I would love to learn from you."
His mother smiles and says, "Of course, my dear. I'll be happy to teach you. But first, let's have lunch. You must be hungry after a busy day at school."
Xie Lian nods and agrees, eager to learn more about martial arts from his mother. As they sit down to eat, he can't wait to get started on his new adventure in Chinese martial arts.
After lunch, Xie Lian turns to his mother and asks, "Mama, can I play with Shi Qingxuan after school closes? he asked me if I could play with him after school closes but I told him that I need your permission first."
His mother smiles and says, "Of course, my dear. I'm sure he would be happy to play with you, besides, I'm not that worried with San lang here, speaking of which, Xie Lian take off your concealment guard now that you're home and let's finish our homework and then we can go play."
Xie Lian nods eagerly, taking off his guard, almost immediately Hua Cheng's silhouette becomes visible in the room, then Xie Lian starts working on his homework.
As Hua Cheng watches Xie Lian doing his homework, he can't help but think about the cool martial arts moves he learned at school, thinking about how these Technics could help him protect Xie Lian in the future.....
