Taking their seats in the cafeteria, they eat their food with Shi Qingxuan being the spearhead of the conversation, with Xie Lian and Mu Qing saying something once in a while

"I'm telling you, I Feel like the closer the end of year exams, the more I procrastinate, like, today when that teacher fell sick, I told myself 'Shi Qingxuan! You better study and understand the concepts you hear me!,' everything's well right? The road is paved, some mental motivation in place!, but as soon as I touched my book, I don't think I even spent 30 minutes....... I don't even know how I blacked out and fell asleep!, Before I knew it, his period was over and the other teacher came in!" He complains in a whining tone as he makes a pitiful face towards Xie Lian and Mu Qing, you could even almost see the words 'can I study with you guys'

Xie Lian, having gotten his point, couldn't help but chuckle, "sure, you be coming at our desk during self study"

Whilst eating and chatting and occasionally laughing, they didn't notice that a figure, seemed to have arrived behind their seat in the cafeteria, it was only after they heard that person hesitantly ask, " do....you....mind if I join you guys?", That they seemed to notice a fourth entity.

Thus they simultaneously turn their heads to the voice behind them only find a fellow teenage boy; neat, tidy and handsome, his face and figure was ok, but that was the problem! There was nothing note worthy, flamboyant, or mesmerizing about this boy's face. In short, it wasn't an impactful face, it was forgettable!, It's the kind of face that would easily be drowned out in a crowd and wouldn't be found or noticed even if he was standing in front...

Xie Lian: "..."

Shi Qingxuan: "..."

Mu Qing: "..."

Only one thought is running wild in each and every one of their heads at the moment; 'where have I seen him before?, His face in my mind is so close yet so far away'

Seeing as everyone was quiet, Shi Qingxuan, awkwardly greets, "hello there.....no problem, take a seat"

The boy notices they're awkward but friendly faces, as if he's used to this kind of response, he smiles good-naturedly, takes a seat as he introduces himself, "Hello Xie Lian, Shi Qingxuan and Mu Qing, I'm Yin Yu, we're in the same class"

'That's it!!!' they all roar in they're hearts

'So that's why he feels familiar!!!'

Xie Lian was the most guilty, he literally collects they're books to be submitted to the teacher but his introverted side doesn't pay much attention to his classmates so you can't blame him much.

"Ohh hi, sorry, we forgot your name" Xie Lian admits guiltily

Mu Qing also guiltily averts his eyes, admiring the floor, the ceiling, and finally the table, until he said, "me too, not only that, I forgot your face"

Shi Qingxuan, the most extroverted was also guilty, " me too, I thought I knew each and every one in our class, but seems like I'm incompetent, sorry Yin Yu"

Seeing everyone so guilty, Yin Yu can't help but chuckle, " it's ok, we haven't talked much this year, I'd be surprised if you guys did remember me"

Yin Yu knows the class rep Xie Lian of course, as for Mu Qing, he only has an impression that he's unapproachable, but since he's with Xie Lian, he doesn't think he's so bad, and of course, the hyper Shi Qingxuan that you couldn't help but notice unless if you stab your ears and gouge out your eyes.

His childhood friends and dormmates; Jian Yu and Quan Yizhen are also in the same class and he always eats with them and wherever he goes, he's always with them, you could call them the three musketeers. but why's he alone now you may ask?, Well Jian Yu received a call two days ago saying that his grandma had Glaucoma, and so he applied for one week leave to just see her and take care of her where need be, of course his parents are also there to take care of her.

As for Quan Yizhen, he just didn't feel like attending Class today and so he's in their dorm room probably playing games of the sort, he also snuck in a rice cooker at the beginning of the term, so he must be cooking something within the dorms.

So without those two, Yin Yu felt lost, as he has a bit of an Introverted personality so it's not so easy getting along with anyone as he please, it's only these three that he can feel like, he can talk to them without any problem as he has a good impression of all of them.

And so with an addition a a fourth member, the junior high school boys spend they're lunch like that, went to class and it was time to go home.

"Yin Yu, you live within school right?" Asks Shi Qingxuan, as he waits for Xie Lian and Mu Qing to also pack up, so that they can leave and go they're respective ways at the gate.

"Yeah, it'd be a Hussle going back and forth from home, don't you guys want to be staying in school?" At this time, Xie Lian and Mu Qing had also arrived when he asked this question, so it was also directed to them

Xie Lian: uhhh well, my Mom doesn't want me to be staying in school

Shi Qingxuan: mine neither

Mu Qing: I hate staying in school

Of course they had to lie, they couldn't possibly say that it was because they all had shadows! And were afraid of being found out!
