Chapter 19

At school, during lunch at the cafeteria, Mu Qing and Xie Lian are eating at the table.

"When is he gonna get here, we'll be done and leave without him"

Mu Qing asks impatiently as he continues terrorizing his food.

"He'll be here soon I think"

Then they hear a panting voice as it makes it's way to their table.

"Guys! Guys!, It's finally here after 3 whole months of torture since school began, the school sports season is finally here!"

Xie Lian & Mu Qing: School sports season?.

Shi Qingxuan: that's just what I like to call it, but anyway, sports!.

Xie Lian chuckles at his excited appearance, taking the notice from shi Qingxuan's hand, proceeding to read it.

"It doesn't start until two weeks from now, wow.... judging by your excited appearance, I thought it was in a few days..."

"Of course, it would be two weeks, we have to train our bodies in those two weeks, the days will literally be flying, we won't even notice a thing, so are you guys joining too?, please!....."

" Well it's just an inter-classes competition, why not?"

Says Mu Qing with a blank expression.

Xie Lian on the other hand purses his lips, scrunching his eyebrows.

" Mmmmm, what activities are there?"

" The usual; running, short put, basketball, chess, High jump, long jump, and so many more"
Replies Shi Qingxuan.

Xie Lian scratches his head for a moment.

"I'd like to try chess and running, I don't like the roughness of basketball"
Says Xie Lian.

You can literally see the stars in Shi Qingxuan's eyes knowing that his friends will join him.

Two weeks went by in the blink of an eye, like Shi Qingxuan said, the days literally flew by.

It just happened to be the long awaited 'sports day', the field is bustling with noise, students in sports attires looking stunning, those that had their muscles and figures hidden by the uniform were finally revealed thanks to the sports attires, our trio is one of "those."

Mu Qing decided to run as well, he would be doing the 2,800 meters run (which is 7 laps), a brave soldier indeed.

Shi Qingxuan decided to participate in the high jump.

Xie Lian just decided to participate in the one for 400 meters, he just wants a quick run as the running event collides with the Chess tournament, he wants to try and save two masters, so he has to finish his run and head straight to the school hall where the matches are held.

The three fit, slim, muscular, impeccable looking students in they're sports attires are standing side by side with one of them clasping his hands behind his head, looking at the area where the high jump will take place, one turns to the other one with their hands clasped around their head and asks

"Shi Qingxuan, your high jump starts first right?"
Asks Xie Lian

Shi Qingxuan puts his hands down from his head,

"Yes, I'm so nervous!"

Mu Qing looks at him and mocks,
" Says the guy who breaks wooden boards and cement blocks with his hands, legs and head"

"That's different!, I have to throw myself in this one!"

"Well, it should be easy for you, don't worry"
Reassures Xie Lian
