Evening came as it always does every single day, same time, same people, just different place and the addition of new deaths and new birth.
A peculiar thing this boring world is, it's up to an individual to make it exciting, to have something worth looking for, something worth waking up for, something worth living for.

Xie Lian arrives at the destination, it's a high end restaurant in which one can also book a private room, and that's what Hua Cheng booked.

This high-end restaurant exudes an air of professionalism, with a touch of subtle romance. It's the ideal setting for business gatherings and meals with colleagues. The private room offers an intimate ambiance, perfect for confidential discussions and memorable dining experiences.

Xie Lian doesn't like going out so it's not surprising that he doesn't know this exquisite establishment, the only place he's been to was that restaurant where he once had a chat with Mu Qing and Shi Qingxuan a while back.

His host was quite the gentleman, when the waiter brought him to the room, he found that the man was already there. Waiting.

"Hello, have you been waiting long?"

"Not at all, I just got here"

The waiter threw Hua Cheng a subtle look, then quietly shook his head towards Xie Lian as if saying with his actions 'if only you knew', then he went away, waiting to be called upon after these guests have made their decisions on what they'd like to have.

So you can imagine the amount of strength and resolve that Xie Lian's using to force himself to sit still and not call out 'San lang!' The moment he sat down and glanced at Hua Cheng.

Hua Cheng, "So Mr Xie Lian, how was your journey here, I hope my sudden invitation was not a Hussle to you."

That voice is so.....

Xie Lian, "Er... no, not at all, it's a pleasure to be invited out by a man of your high stature."

Hua Cheng had both arms on the table at first, then he lifts one arm to rest his face on it as he focuses his warm gaze upon Xie Lian before he laughs scoffingly, almost as if he was deprecating himself in a very subtle way, "please, I'm nothing compared to you" Dianxia is what he wanted to add at the end...

Xie Lian, "ok, we came here to get acquainted with each other, so can we not talk about work?"

Hua Cheng, "ok, so how is everyone at home?"

Xie Lian, "everyone is fine, what about you?"
