'That was definitely a shadow concealment guard on Mu Qing's wrist' Xie Lian thought whilst in the car
'How long has he been like us' he thinks excitedly, but later frowns, 'so he's been just like us? Trying his best to hide and not be found out...... ' Xie Lian leans his head against the car door, looking at his faint reflection, lost in thought, 'if it were me in that situation, I would panic so much...... He must be panicking right about now, must be worried that someone must have seen his shadow that was slowly getting visible, but luckily no one else did.'
He feels a hand on the side of his face that's leaning against the window, slowly bringing him to that person's chest, the hand starts stroking his hair
Feeling comfortable, he nestles deeper into the embrace, wrapping his other hand around that person's waist, "San lang, what would I do without you"
Having made up his mind, he takes out his phone, finding Shi Qingxuan in his contacts and dials him. It connects.
"Hey Xie Lian..."
"If you were in his situation, what would you do?"
Shi Qingxuan chuckles nervously and blurts out without thinking, "Rush home, tell my parents, change schools-"
He widens his eyes, sits up straight, purses his thin plump lips, tightly clutching his phone, then exclaims fearfully concerned, "you don't think he actually wants to change schools now right!?"
He hears Xie Lian's chuckle at the other end, "I'm not sure, but he doesn't know about us, so I was thinking-"
Realizing his thoughts, Shi Qingxuan cuts him off and completes his sentence for him, "you want to tell him?, Is....... That ok?"
"I'm not sure, but if there's one thing I know at the moment is that I trust him and it wouldn't be fair if we knew but he doesn't"
"Ok sure, so we tell him next time in person?"
" Yeah "

They made they're decision to tell him, but Mu Qing didn't come to school the following day
Xie Lian, seeing the empty desk next to him during lunch can't help but sport a frown, 'is he really thinking about transferring schools'
Shi Qingxuan pulls him out of his pool of thoughts, "Thinking about Qing?"
"Yeah he's not really going to change schools is he?, Should we go over to his place?"
" Great! We can go after school!, You know where he lives? "
Xie Lian: "..."
" No, I thought you did " Xie Lian says, feeling embarrassed.
"How would I know! He's usually unapproachable!, I could barely strike a conversation with him, let alone knowing where he lives"
Xie Lian dejectedly sighs, " ok, then let's just give him some time and wait for him to calm down. He'll come back when he's ready to face us"
It was only 3 days later that Mu Qing reported back to school, he was welcomed by Shi Qingxuan pouncing on him and Xie Lian's bright smile. Then like thieves planning on how they're going to rob a bank, they drag him to the corner of the class and scold him in a voice only the three of them can hear
" Mu Qing, don't change schools!"
" Yeah, if those are your thoughts at the moment, you better forget about it! We'll tie you up if we have to!"
Mu Qing stares at the two worried faces in front of him with a surprised expression, then he smilingly softens his expression, looking really bright and handsome for once and he can't help but chuckle
" Don't worry, I won't transfer"
Xie Lian: "..."
Shi Qingxuan: "..."
"Damn, you look really nice when you smile!, You should smile more! Not always looking like someone stole your buff"
"Yeah, very handsome"
Mu Qing's originally happy expression twitches exasperatedly after hearing Shi Qingxuan's twisted compliment
Seeing that time's running out and the teacher will be in any minute now, Shi Qingxuan and Xie Lian hurriedly say
"We have something very important to tell you after school"
Almost forgetting how he psyched himself up in the morning about coming clean to Xie Lian and Shi Qingxuan, he adds on
"I also have something to tell you guys"
Shi Qingxuan: is the school safe though? Why not just go to Xie Lian's place, it'll be better and give peace of mind
Xie Lian: ok
Mu Qing: I think that would be for the best
