Monday was the day they received their results. To the relief of many, most of the exams were passed. Kaminari in particular was ecstatic with his results on his biology and algebra tests. As soon as he was handed back his papers he was out of his seat and sprinting at Izuku for a hug. Completely ignoring Aizawa's annoyed drawl to sit back down.
Izuku himself passed with flying colors. Hitoshi's scores following not too far behind. And most of their main lunch group also did really well. The only tests that had been failed were a few of the hero practicals. And Aizawa let those students know that while he would let them come to the camp he would be giving them extra work.
The threat didn't dampen their celebrations for long.
When lunch rolled around it found almost all of 1A and half of the first year support course gathered around three tables, most of the teens standing and moving around as they celebrated and compared grades.
Mei was bouncing in place, jerking Izuku around by his arm as she did so. Babbling his ear off about how Kaminari had really helped her boost her english grade and how she was excited for dinner that night. The plans being that if they all passed then the Hatsumes would meet the Yamazawa houshold at a nice restaurant in celebration. Mia had picked the place, apparently she had only been able to afford to go once before and the food was to die for.
And Izuku knew the woman was almost always right about food.
The greenette hummed in response to her enthusiasm and guided her a bit closer to the table, smiling as he caught sight of Shinso and Todoroki coming back with food for Mei, Denki, and him. The two quieter males of the group once again making sure their more easily distracted friends were taken care of. They would make great heroes.
Mei was tricked into sitting by turning her chair around so she could straddle it and then his arm was switched for her chop sticks. And soon their group were sitting down, chatting with the still too excitable teens who were milling around them. Congratulations and gentle teasing filled the air and Izuku was just happy to be able to bask in the school related chaos without fear for once.
He settled in to eat with a smile as he discussed the finer points of Yaoyarozu's biology test, the boy explaining some of the facts and concepts she mixed up or got wrong.

Izuku stared up at the entrance to the mall with trepidation. Somehow he, Hitoshi, and several of the support kids, had been convinced to participate in 1A's class trip. The greenette hated malls, but Kaminari's hopeful look when the others had asked them to join had made it impossible to say no. He would just have to ask the others to use his money to pay for whatever he wanted to buy.
It would be embarrassing to be refused service in front of such a large group.
Luckily the boys plus Mei almost immediately walked over to a rapidly growing group of teenagers almost as soon as they stepped through the main doors. Uraraka called out to them in her unbelievably chipper way. They were three of the last to arrive, followed soon after by the few remaining stragglers as everyone discussed how to break up into groups so everyone could go to the stores they needed.
