It had been a whole day since Izuku disappeared. His boyfriends and family had spent the time in panic. Hizashi worked with Nezu and UA's PR department to figure out exactly what they needed to say and what they could keep private. Mia and Mei were working on trackers for every UA student to start carrying since apparently they were all in danger all of the time. The boys were running interference with their classmates and friends and trying to hold each other together. And Shouta was doing the rounds of the underground, looking for any clue as to his son's whereabouts.
But none of them were the ones who brought forth the next breakthrough. Instead it was the BOLO in the small blue car they had seen leaving the apartment complex at the exact time they lost track of Kurai and Inko. And the hit came from an unexpected source. Sir Nighteye called the detective to confirm the description of the vehicle. Sir had found out where it had gone and the answer wasn't good.
The Foresight Hero called a meeting with both the UA heros that could be spared and a slew of others he thought they would need. And when Shouta and Hizashi walked into the conference room at the man's agency they were torn between relief that they would have so much help in rescuing their kid, and fear that so many hands were already assumed to be needed.
The fear increased when Nighteye started reading them in on the investigation that had just taken a sharp turn. The information based hero had been monitoring a recent uptick in yakuza activity in the area, tracing it back to one group. The Shei Hassaikai. The gang had their hands in the suddenly reexpanding trigger market, and the strange quirk binding bullets that had started showing up a few months earlier.
So the Sit Nighteye agency had decided to start hunting down every lead they could in order to make a plan of demolition. That was until two nights before, when a BOLO had pinged in their system to march a car they had seen come and go from a small building associated with the Shei Hassaikai.
The car was registered under one Meishu Kurai.
Once all of the facts were laid out, Sir had asked the teachers in attendance why Izuku might have been taken. Unfortunately no one had a solid answer besides Inko being vindictive and aware she wasn't likely to win the court case to keep her son.
They decided to skip the speculation and just jump into planning. They had a student to rescue after all.

Izuku sighed from his spot wrapped as well as possible around the sweet little girl he found himself in hell with. They were laying in Eri's small bed in the name of trying to get some rest after a very painful day.
Overhaul had been busy that session. So instead of being sent back to the cell with merely the ache and memories of the tortuous process of sample taking and blood stealing, they were left with dizziness and arms and legs covered in bandages. Izuku had actually needed to be carried, more dragged in truth, back to the cell after he fainted from blood loss. But no one seemed too worried about their health so they were just thrown back in the room and left to get themselves as comfortable as possible.
Which led to them cuddling and trying their best to ignore the burning of open wounds under rough bandages. Trying to sleep off the dizziness and exhaustion in the hopes that tomorrow would be better.
