Chapter 30

Mercedes P.O.V

I woke up early this morning due to the sound of the pouring rain that was battering down on my window.

I checked the weather forecast and saw that there were thunderstorms predicted for the next few hours.

I groaned and dragged myself out of bed hopping into the shower.

Richy had been staying with us for the past 2 nights so far but I avoided him completely.

I wasn't going to do anything until I knew for sure where me and Ky were at regarding our relationship.

So I invited him over tonight.

But not like a dinner or anything. I told him to come when everyone was asleep so I could sneak him in.

I didn't want him finding out that Richy was staying here or else he would loose it.

He told me he would come around 2 a.m. which was perfect because Ney and Bru would already be asleep and Richy I didn't even have to worry about.

Because he never even dared stepping foot into my room knowing Ney was under the same roof.

Kylian P.O.V

I woke up today groaning at the weather.

Practice was canceled today since it was literally pouring down really hard out there.

I looked at the window and sighed texting my assistant asking if there was anything important to do today.

She told me that I had absolutely nothing to do and that I had a free day since practice was canceled so instead I worked out by myself at my personal gym.

I also had gotten a message from Mercedes wanting to meet to talk about our "relationship."

Which I appreciated because I wanted to know as well, what our relationship was looking like.

I just wanted to know for sure if we were over so I could continue talking with this new girl.

We had recently met during a charity gala, where they would invite all the players and host with multiple WAG's in attendance as well as other single women.

I noticed this girl and we couldn't take our eyes off each other.

Her name was Bella and she had similar features as Mercedes.

Which is part of the reason why I gravitated towards her so much.

She told me she was a med student who was in her second year of residency, which I found to be very impressive.

We chatted over little things like our favorite sports teams , hobbies , etc.

She ended up giving me her number and told me to call her and I actually ended up calling her the same night and we've been talking ever since.

I felt guilty because I knew Mercedes wasn't aware but at the same time it wasn't like we were being lovey dovey in any sort.

So I assumed that we weren't together.

It was still raining by the time it reached night and it was now around 2ish when I left the house to Mercedes'.

I parked a little ahead of her house so Ney wouldn't see my car parked outside his house at 2 in the morning and freak out.

I listened to what Mercy told me and snuck in through the backyard waiting for her to open the back door for me.

I texted her twice anxiously waiting for her to hurry up since I was nervous about getting caught by Ney.

It wasn't that I was scared but I knew how he got when it came to Mercy and it's expected since that's his little sis but I didn't want to get punched right now so that wasn't an option at the moment.
