"Come in," I mutter, sitting up on my bed so I didn't look lazier then I am. I'm not lazy, but a girl's gotta sulk. My doorknob clicked, and twisted. I squeezed my eyes closed, nervous.

Once my door opened, I opened my eyes. It was him. His eyes showed the color of sympathy, and his face expressed sorrow. As in sorrow for me. "Hey," my voice cracked, as the lack of use. "Hey."

"Uh..." The silence came back again, and we just sat there. Well, I did. Mario just stood by my closet. "I wanted to apologize to you for...you know. The other day. I was just concerned. I didn't want you to get hurt." Mario apologized, his face becoming flushed.

"I never meant any harm either. I just really wanted to help my sister. She's done so much for me." I sigh out. "I can understand that." He was now sitting on my bed, next to me. I smiled at him, and his mustache curled upwards, implying a grin.

I went to hug the friend next to me, before hesitating. The voices in my head tell me no. But I still hug him anyways. "I really needed one." I mutter into his shoulder. He stiffened before returning the hug.
