Chapter 8: My heart speed runs whenever i encounter you

One thing that lingered around my mind for the whole day. Matthew. The way he pleaded me to talk to him again, and the way he fucking reassured me that he wouldn't hate me for a small thing.

So, do I like him? I wouldn't mind being his friend but as a lover, definitely not. He must've had considered me as a friend, that's why he most likely confronted me regarding the situation. Plus, he doesn't talk to anyone else except me and Hao. This is a really funny fact.

I'm still surprised that he prefers to stay alone or be quiet instead of go talk to hundreds of people. I mean, it's alright if he wants to do anything he wants to, but it's just surprising that there is someone who wants me to stay by his side.

Good thing about him, it's the fact that he's a trustworthy guy. I could rely my life, and he wouldn't say a word to anyone else. Pretty decent, I guess.

I came back to reality when a buzz on my phone was heard by me. It was a notification from Haruto. What does he want now? I mean, it was nighttime, isn't he an early bird?

I opened my phone to check his text and squinted my eyes the moment I read it again.
