Royston opens the door to his villa. Flowers and candles have been placed around the room. Royston does not pay any attention to this. He places his bag on the bed and walks out to the balcony, overlooking the pristine blue waters of the sea. He collapses onto the deck chair.
He takes out a worn photograph from his wallet. It shows a happy family portrait - that of a younger Royston, his adult son ANDREW, and his Maldivian wife, AMINAH.
