Tuffashana arrives in Male, disembarking the ship, the soldiers carrying a large trunk.

Medhoo having heard of his son's arrival is explaining to Andre that his son, Tuffashana, has brought back a gift for Andre. The room fills with murmur, the Portuguese wondering what was so special of this gift that they had to be summoned to the great hall to witness such a thing.

Tuffashanawalks into the hall, and marches directly to the dais, on which Andre issitting on a chair, and his father, who is smiling proudly at his son. "I have brought a gift for you, oh great one," Tuffashana proclaims.

Tuffashana signals for the soldiers to bring the gift into the hall. The soldiers carry the trunk and place it in front of Tuffashana. Tuffashana is enjoying the suspense, loving the attention that has been placed on him. He savors the moment even longer, building the anticipation in the room.

After some time, Tuffashana kicks the trunk forward, causing it to topple, its cover opening up, the body of a young boy, rolling out of the trunk. The boy is in collars and chains, as he looks around the room, dazedly. He tries to get back into the trunk, but Tuffashana kicks the boy forward towards Andre.

Andrequirks his eyebrow, wondering why the boy was so special. Tuffashana, stillsmiling, informs Andre, "I, Tuffashana, bestow upon this gift of this boy to you. The boy who goes by the name of Abdul, just so happens to be the childof the traitorous and recently deceased Ali of Utheem. And before you ask if he is really dead, then yes, I have witnessed it with my own eyes. If you do not believe me, why don't you ask this little runt yourself."

Theboy, Abdul, gathering up his courage, curses everyone in the room,  "even though my father is dead, his spirit lives on and he will haunt every single one of you!"

Abdul then turns his sights to Andre. "My uncles will make sure the Portuguese will pay for your crimes and they will right the wrongs done to the people of Maldives."

Medhoowho has been standing beside Andre, slowly backs away, not wanting to be in thesame vision as Abdul. Medhoo makes it out of the room, much to theconsternation of his son, Tuffashana.

"Take the boy away," Andre commands his solders.

Hethen turns his sights on Tuffashana, who had anticipated gratefulness, but nowis unsure of the direction of Andre's mind. Andre takes a moment, beforespeaking up. "How is it, that you, who are supposed to be so devious, would think that bringing the son and nephew of the Utheem brothers be construed as a gift, when in actual fact, it is a direct declaration of war! If the Utheem brothers had no intention of attacking Male, they would do so now, just to rescue the boy!"

Tuffashana, tries to explain his actions, but Andre waves him to stop. He has had enough of the plotting and scheming by the father and son duo. "Take him away," Andre commands his guards.

Tuffashana drops to his knees, and begs for forgiveness, to which Andre turns a blind ear.

Tuffashana is escorted to the dungeons of Male palace. He passes the cell in which Abdul is locked up. The soldiers escort him even further away from the cell.

The group stops at a door, which leads to a private dock. The guards that had been escorting Tuffashana, unbounds his chains. Tuffashana rubs his wrists and looks up at Male palace and the city. He turns to the guards and says they will be rewarded well once he becomes Sultan of Maldives and the Portuguese are all gone.
