A speedboat with 2 HOTEL STAFF, LATIF and WAHIB, towing a small canoe, slows down as it approaches the villa. It stops under the villa. Latif quickly unties the canoe from the speedboat onto one of the pillars of the villa. Once the action is done, they salute to Royston, who had been standing on the balcony the entire time. The speedboat speeds off.
Royston gets into the canoe, a wreath of flowers already in the canoe. He rows the canoe out into the sea and stops it a few hundred metres away from shore.
The sun is already starting to set, when Royston lights the wreath. He casts it into the sea.
"I will join you soon, my beloved wife and son," Royston murmurs to the wind.
As the wreath floats and burns away, Royston clutches the photograph and lays down in the canoe, the gentle sway of the water causing him to drift to sleep.
