"I got a new lab, I got a new lab. I got a new lab." Mr. Davenport sings as we walk through a tunnel to the lab.

"Whoa, whoa, whoa. I think you mean, we got a new lab." Bree says.

"Excuse me. Did we pay to rebuild it?" Mr. Davenport says.

"Do you sleep in a glass box?" I say.

"We got a new lab, we got a new lab." Mr. Davenport sings. He began to dance along with Adam, Leo, and Chase. "And here it is." The lab doors open and we walk inside the new lab. My eyes widened in amazement as we looked around the lab. It was a lot bigger than the old one. We had four new capsules in the back, and the floors had hexagon-shaped tiles.

"Wow!" I say.

"Guys, look at all these upgrades. Mr. Davenport, this place is amazing." Chase says.

"Of course it is. I designed it." Mr. Davenport says. Leo gives him a look.

"Ahem!" He says.

"Fine! We designed it! We, we!" Mr. Davenport says. "Upgraded capsules, bam! Quantum processing supercomputer, bam! Four-dimensional combat simulator, bam! This, my friends, is what a multi-million dollar makeover looks like."

"Is there a mini fridge?" Adam asks.

"No." Mr. Davenport says.

"I bet our real dad's lab has a mini fridge," Adam says, looking over at Chase and me.

"Hey, Leo, where's your workstation?" I ask.

"This way, children," Leo says. He takes Mr. Davenport's tablet and when he presses a button, Leo's desk appears from the ground.

"Whoa!" Adam and I exclaimed.

"The floor in the lab is compartmentalized, meaning we can store things in it. May I?" Leo says, looking at Mr. Davenport. When he nods, Leo does a pose. "Bam!"

"Is that a nuclear magnetic resonant spectrometer?" Chase gasped, walking over to the device that was on the other side of the room. "I've never seen one in person before. It's so beautiful."

"Should we leave you two alone?" I asked my brother as we all gave him weird looks.

"Mr. Davenport, how did you afford all this?" Bree asks.

"Well, I used some of the money from the jet wing stunt, but the rest of it I got from a huge government contract I just signed." Mr. Davenport says. "I am developing a rocket system that will protect the Earth from rogue asteroids. Thanks to this little baby, I'm on my way back up rich man mountain, and, whoo, the air smells better up here! Huh? Whoa. Oh, wait, there's one more thing I forgot to show you."

"Mini fridge?" Adam gasps.

"There's no mini fridge." Mr. Davenport said through gritted teeth.

"But there is me!" Eddy says, popping up on the screen in the lab. We all groan, except for Mr. Davenport. "Hello, friends, and I use the term friends loosely because you're not my friends, and I hate you."

"Did you really have to bring Eddy back? I already have a lot to deal with, I don't need him bugging me." I say.

"Yeah, I don't know that I'm okay with that," Chase says.

"Well, then you definitely won't be okay with this," Eddy says. Suddenly, the floor underneath Chase opens up, and Chase falls in, screaming. "Bam!" Even though I hate Eddy, I couldn't help but laugh as Chase fell through the floor.

"That jerk has been doing donuts in the school parking lot all morning," Bree says as the five of us walk through the school parking lot.
