You don't seem to understand,
Yet you continue to stand,
Making me the one in the wrong,
So the argument continues to prolong.
I find it to be unfair
Which is why I sometime don't dare
To say anything in case it results
In raised voices and insults.
Maybe this is why I feel unheard:
But what can I do when silence's preferred?
I wish for someone to realise,
Even if it's just by looking into my eyes,
That I'm not alright,
That I don't want to fight,
That I don't want to go through this,
That I'm stuck in an abyss.
