We got home later then normal from the red carpet and I was to high strung to fall asleep. I was editing photos, looking at tagged photos and commented on some of them. I smiled at the one of Colson and I, a fan took it.

I decided to comment on it.

"When bae tells you that we're getting taco bell afterwards"

I watched the comments and likes fill my notifications and giggled.

A door slamming caused me to jump and clench my chest. Colson walked in, still dressed in his suit and threw his phone.

"I'm done. He's out". He hissed.

"What. Who?" I asked and stood up.

"Jacks. He's out". He said and grabbed the bottle of whiskey from the cabinet.

"Woah, calm down. What happened"? I asked and grabbed the bottle.

"He set my concert date". He growled.

"Well isn't that what you wanted"? I asked.

He took a sharp inhale. "November 11th".

My mouth dropped. "The day before the wedding"?

He nodded and took the bottle from me and taking a swig.

"He can't do that". I said and followed him to the couch.

"I'm not doing it. I told him no, and that he was fired."

I was so proud of Colson for putting his foot down. The way Jack's controlled him was how the internet did. I grabbed his shoulders and rubbed them as he tried to relax.

He stood up and turned to me and I noticed he was breaking down.

"What's wrong my love"? I questioned.

He shook his head and set the bottle down.

"I've already lost you once, I can't lose you again. When he told me the date i panicked. I didnt want you mad". He said.

I pouted and wrapped my arms around him.

"You're not going to lose me. I'm here to stay. You told him no and thats all you could do". I whispered.

He rested his head on top of mine as he swayed us back and forth. Holding me close to him.

"The wedding is my only priority right now. No tour, no studio, just you and me princess". He whispered.

"You need to be you Colson. This was your step one". I agreed.

He pulled me tighter and spoke out. "Alexa, play some slow music"?

I smiled against his chest as the soft music filled the living room. He moved us slowly back and forth, leading the whole dance.

This was the first time we ever danced like this, I never knew he could. I snuggled my face closer as I felt his lips on top of my head. Moments like these are what I cherish with Colson.
