I smiled as Colson told me stories about when he was little and how him and his dad would always go out for dinner because neither of them wanted to cook.

"What about you're parents"? He asked and sipped his wine.

"Ohh. My parents". I giggled. "Mom always cooked, dad refused but would tell others he did everything". I smiled.

"Tell me more". He smiled.

I set my glass down and laid my head down on his lap. He played with my hair.

"What did you wanna know"? I asked.

He hummed and then took a sip of his drink. "I wanna know about little baby Luna". He smirked.

"Little baby Luna was a mess". I giggled. "My mom was a school teacher so she got to be mine for second grade. My dad worked as a tire salesman. I would always go to work with him and always had fun". I smiled.

I grabbed my phone and scrolled through to show him pictures. He took the phone and looked through them, smiling.

"My mom was the fun parent believe it or not. Dad didnt let me do anything". I smiled.

"No way"? He smirked and I shook my head. "Yes way. I got to stay up late, eat junk food, everything". I said.

He laid my phone back on me as he cleared his throat.

"What did your dad think about when you started dating"? He asked.

Memories flooded my brain as I thought of him. My hearts jumping.

"He hated it. When he first met Dylan he threatened him. He told me if I got knocked up he would knock him out". I giggled.

"And your mom"?

I shrugged. "She wanted me to be happy".

Colson smiled and traced my bottom lip with his finger.

"What happened between you and Dylan"? He asked.

I took a deep breath and sighed.

"We were together for a few years, right out of highschool. He was there for when my dad got sick and passed away. Then he started to take classes at NYU, he was going to be a producer. One day he changed and tried to go on the road with a few friends. The day he was supposed to leave the car wouldn't start so that dream died". I said.

At this point he had my hair braided in little stands.

"What happened after that"?

"Two years later he proposed to me, at one of your shows". I said and covered my mouth.

He opened his mouth and jumped in the chair.

"What show"? He asked.

"Pittsburgh, 2018". I giggled.

He laughed out loud and grabbed my hand. "I remember it". He chuckled.

"No you dont". I said and he moved me so he could stand up.

"I do. You were closer to the front on the left side I believe. I sang from bloom".

"Do you remember what song"? I questioned. We were now looking at one another.

"Waste love". He smirked.

I can't believe he got it right.

"When we first met, you said you didn't listen to anything, only Hotel Diablo"? He questioned.

I nodded. "It was a part I didn't want to remember. I listened up until Hotel Diablo". I sighed.

"What kind of asshole proposes to that song"? He laughed and I giggled.
