chapter 44

Three days. Three whole days I haven't talked to Colson. He's been staying in Rooks room at he hotels when we stop. We eventually would be talking because we start the bus again today. I packed the rest of my bag, making sure to get Colson's. I grabbed it and rolled it to the door, being careful. I seen him walk out of Rooks room and looked at me.

"Colson". I said but he walked off.

I sighed. I grabbed the test in my hoodie pocket and took a deep breath.  I grabbed both bags and walked to the elevator and got down to the lobby. Everyone stood there as Justin helped me with the bags. I walked up to Colson again and poked him.

"I need to speak to you"? I whispered and he continued to look at his phone.

"Okay I get that you're mad at me. I at least wanna say bye to you before I leave". I said

He paused for a minute as he stopped texting whoever, but kept his head down. I walked off to Amara as she handed me my passes for tonight's show but I shook them off.

"I'm going home". I said.

She quickly looked up at me. "Wait, why. What"? She gasped.

"We had a fight last night and I don't think I can handle another night alone. I'm just going home". I said and slowly brought the test out of my pocket to give her a peak.

She looked down confused and then her eyes widened. I put my hand to her mouth as she squaled.

"I haven't told him. We aren't talking right now". I whispered.

"You definitely can't go home now. Luna you're considered a high risk now because you lost the first one. Let me hire an on site nurse or doctor for you, please don't leave". She said and pulled me to the side.

"If he's not going to talk to me then I need to. I said some nasty things a couple days ago and we haven't been together". I sighed and put my head down, looking at my stomach.

"Couples fight, especially at times like these. It's your hormones baby. I can-"

Colson walking over cut the conversation. Amara paused and let go of my arm.

"What"? I asked.

He rolled his eyes and grabbed my hand, his eyes looked at mine and quickly pulled me to the side. Away from Amara and the others.

"You can't leave". He whispered.

"Oh now you're talking to me. Well clearly we need a break. I can't keep fighting with you over everything. I need to relax this time". I said, trying to give hints.

"Relaxing isnt going to do anything. You're just running from a problem". He said.

Okay, that hurt. But this is supposed to be a good moment. A moment for the books you can say.

"Colson, I'm not running". I said and he shook it off.

"I get it. Okay. I really get it but you aren't leaving". He said and pulled me into his chest, squeezing me. "I need you here with me".

"Careful". I whispered.

"I promise to never bring up a baby again. Just please don't leave. This is me begging you". He whispered.

I patted his arm and reached down to grab the test in my pocket. My face still pressed against his chest as he rubbed my head.

"Colson". I groaned and he just pulled me tighter, kissing the top of my head then backed me up so he could kiss my forehead and the tip of my nose.

"Do you want a coffee, I'll buy you one of those good iced coffees you like here. Or what about a chocolate chip muffin. Yeah? Yeah let's go get one". He said and I giggled.

"You'll have to buy me two muffins ? I said and placed the covered test in his pocket.

"Why"? He asked. "Are they that good"?

When he let go I walked off quickly before he screamed out.

"What"! He yelled. "What"!

I made it to the bus as Rook looked at me. "What's got him so excited"? He laughed.

"Go ask him uncle Rook". I patted his arm and then got onto the bus. Hearing him yell with Colson.

I set my bags down and the stumbling on the bus made me giggle.

"Are you fucking with me"? Colson asked as he walked over to me, still holding the test.

"Now why would I joke about that"? I smiled and he picked me up into a hug.

"This is the best thing to ever happen to me since Casey was born". He said and spun me around.

"Okay father of two. Put me down". I laughed and he shook his head.

"I'm never putting you down". He whispered.

"Can't hold her while the bus moves". Bobby said as he walked on.

"I'm gonna be a dad Bobby"! Colson said as he put me down and jumped on him.

Bobby sighed and locked up the giant man in some sort of move, Colson laughing and groaning.

"Calm down will you". Bobby said then turned to me. "Congratulations little one". He smiled and sat down with Colson behind him on the couch, squishing him.

"Alright let's get going"! John yelled as he walked onto the bus with the others.

I sat down at the table as Amara and Sophie sat next to me.

"I called and got you a nurse. They will meet us in the next show". She smiled.

I nodded. This time around I'm going to be cautious, and we'll aware of what my body is doing.

"Can I please go sit next to my pregnant wife". Colson groaned as Bobby never moved.

"Not until you calm down". He laughed.

I smiled, giving my husband a wink and took a sip of my water. Things were good again. I hope it sticks this time.
