A full week has went by and I haven't spoken to Colson. He hasn't updated any of his social medias, nor has the rest of the band. I feel distant, I feel heartbroken. The only one I've talked to was Sophie and she said he was still acting like an asshole. I chose to ignore it. I can't be upset today, how could I be? So I sit here, in a off white dress, with my hair curled and the makeup caked onto my face as everyone who sat beside me wore the color pink and blue to make their guesses. My chest hurt without him here.
"Okay everyone. Welcome to the gender reveal. Your job is to make your guesses and put them in the boxes up by the cake. We will start the fun in a little bit". Kourtney smiled.
I looked over to see Amber talking to Travis and Pete then noticed a familiar face. Perrie walked over to me with Jade.
"Hello love". Jade smiled, her pink dress blowing in the wind.
"Hi guys. I'm so happy you're here". I smiled and wrapped my arms around the both of them.
"I wanted you to meet someone". Perrie smiled and turned back.
Her husband Alex walked over holding a little boy in his arms and I smiled. "Is that Axel"? I asked.
"In the flesh". Alex spoke and kissed Perries temple.
"We couldn't miss this for the world. Plus, it gave me an excuse to wear this". Perrie giggled.
Her blue dress was up to her knees, the white slip on shoes and her pin straight hair. Both of these girls were absolutely stunning.
"Where is Leigh-Ann"? I asked.
"She had some work she couldn't get out of. She sends her love and her gift is on the table". Jade smiled.
"Thank you guys for coming. It means alot to me". I said, feeling my chest tighten again as I thought of Colson.
"No problem love. We'll be over here". Perrie smiled and the four of them walked over to their chairs.
I sat back down as Pete walked over with some guy wearing a blue suit. His hair was gelled back and to the side and he smiled.
"Luna, this is John Mulaney. He's a coworker and a friend of mine from SNL".
I smiled. "I love your stand up. Makes me laugh everytime". I said and shook his hand.
"Its very nice to meet you. When Pete told me about the party I just had to come and meet Pete's only friend". He smirked and Pete laughed.
"He's fucking hilarious".
I laughed with John for a bit before he walked over to sit next to someone, Pete sitting next to me, the seat where Colson would have sat at. I was brought out of my train of thought when I seen Travis roll out a big screen and started to plug things in. I gave up asking questions. They got me nowhere.
It was already three in the afternoon and I was already getting tired. I didn't want to tell Kourtney my heart wasn't in it anymore. It would break her heart. When she walked over she handed me a small black remote.
"When I say to. Turn on the monitor". She smiled.
I watched her walk away and sit down next to Travis as she whispered something in his ear. He nodded and stood up quickly.
"Excuse me everyone. I have an announcement. In about three minutes I'm going to need everyone to look at the screen. We also need your guesses in". He smiled.
I hate surprises.
I took a sip of my drink and watched everyone finish up their late lunch and votes. Only to feel my heart race again. I don't want all of this here. I just want Colson.
"Here". Pete spoke from above me handing me a giant sparkler.
"I don't trust myself around fire". I giggled and he waved me off.
"If you catch on fire it will be entertaining". He chuckled. "Plus I'll light it for you".
"Luna, now"! Kourtney giggled and I grabbed the remote off the table. Aiming it at the screen and turned it on.
I noticed a stage pop up, there was a giant crowd. I turned to Kourtney who was already smiling and I felt my eyes water. This can't be. Soon, the screen filled with a picture of Colson on stage, over in London.

"Hello London"! He yelled. "I have a job to do before Istart the show if that's okay"?
Pete grabbed my hand as the camera zoomed in on Colson.
"Its a livestream. Hes on his Instagram". Kourtney smiled.
I covered my face. I can't believe this
"So, someone special to me made a point a couple days ago and it hit me hard. I chose to let my emotions get the best of me in this situation and I now see how horrible it is, but today is a moment whereI feel left out becauseI'm not sitting with her, at a table, back home in Los Angeles for a gender reveal, but I'm here now" he spoke into the microphone.
I squeezed Pete's hand and continued to watch with a smile on my face.
"So London, I'm gonna need you to do this with me". He said and set his gutair down, grabbing one of the cannons instead.
I turned to Pete. "Why does he get a cannon"? I laughed as I wiped my eyes.
"He's not allowed fire on-stage". He chuckled.
Kourtney walked over to me and grabbed my hand for me to get up and follow her. She walked me infront of everyone and handed me the sparkler. Seconds later a phone was placed in my hand.
"Hi baby". Colson smiled.
"Hi my love". I felt relaxed now. Fighting or not I need him.
"On the count of three were gonna do it together". He smiled and I could hear the crowd from both sides.
I nodded and that's when Pete walked over, the crowd only getting louder.
"Alrignt London. Let's do this"! He yelled into the microphone.
I watched on the screen as he and the band walked to the front of the stage Holding cannons. Then the countdown began.
"10 "9 "8.
I felt my stomach twist. This is actually happening.
Yes I was still mad at Colson but the fact that he made sure to be here for this moment made my heart swell.
"7 "6 "5".
Pete got the lighter ready as he put it infront of the sparkler.
"4 "3 "2 "1
The lighter lit the end of the stick as I squeezed my eyes shut. Seconds later the cheering from around me and the phone made me open them.
The blue smoke coming from the end of my sparkler and the blue smoke coming from his cannon made me laugh out in excitement.
"I'm getting a boy"! I heard Colson yell.
Pete wrapped his arm around me as everyone on my end clapped and cheered. The whole stadium in London roaring with Colson.
"I'm having a boy"! I yelled and Kourtney wrapped me into a hug.
