We went to studio, to meeting then another studio in the matter of a day. Colson was asleep next to me in the car as Bobby drove us back to the studio once again. Rook wanted to redo one of the tracks for the new album because Jackson was making him.
I looked over at the sleeping boy and sighed. He needed a break or he was going to break. With his birthday coming in a few days I wanted to make sure I made it special but I can't do much if he's going to be sassy and sleepy.
I seen his phone light up next to us and grabbed it. It was Jackson again, for the fifth time. I hit silent and laid it back down only for it to pop up again.
"What"? I groaned as I answered it.
"Where's Kells, Hes late"? Jack asked.
"Were in traffic, I can't rush that. He's asleep right now". I turned to him as he rested his head against the window now.
"Well if he wants this album to work he needs to get here. I've had Rook and Brandon here since five".
I rolled my eyes. "Then they can leave. He's finally asleep and I'm not waking him". I whispered and hung up.
I set the phone in my purse so nobody bothered him again. He needed time to rest.
"We're here". Bobby said as he parked the car.
I nodded and unbuckled as I moved over to Colson. I lightly nudged his arm as he groaned.
"We're here". I whispered.
He nodded and rubbed his face. "Okay". He spoke and opened his door.
I got out and followed him inside the building. We walked down the long hallway and when we got into the studio Brandon and Rook were sitting there inside the booth, Jackson was sitting at the mic stand.
"Took you long enough". He muttered and sat up.
"Save it". Colson sighed and took off his hoodie. "What's wrong with the track now"? He looked over at Rook.
"Some of the beats are off, I can't fix it because you know more about it". He said and sipped his coffee.
Colson rolled his eyes and walked over to the radio and sat down.
"Can I speak to you"? Jackson asked and I nodded.
We made it out to the hallway as he put his hands on his hips. "What's your job here"? He asked.
"I take photos of my boyfriend on stage and run my own magazine".
Jackson nodded and stepped closer. "Not once in that statement did I hear you say manager. What makes you think you can tell me what to do with my client"? He asked.
He can't be serious right now.
"Jacks, that man has been up for weeks, working on stuff that somehow is okay when he leaves but comes back to it fucked up. He needs a break". I said.
Jackson chuckled and shook his head. "If he wants this project done then he needs to work on it, not play house with you".
I rolled my eyes. "Say what you want. You go home and sleep when your day is done". I said and turned but he grabbed me.
"Leave my client alone and stick to your pictures. Unless I need to find another photographer". He said and let go, walking himself down the long hallway and out the door.
I groaned and walked back in to see Colson now inside the booth, the headphones over his ears. "Just hit play". He said to Rook.
Brandon looked at me and cleared his throat. "He was going off when you hung up on him eariler".
