"Sir Edwin." Mycroft stood tall in the meeting room and paced forward as Sir Edwin offered a seat. "Afternoon, Mycroft." He greeted across just as the pair sat down. "To what do I owe the pleasure?" The partly bold man asked pleasantly. "How's Britain been without my presence?" Mycroft stated back, in other words he was asking how Elina Hooper got on whilst she was temporarily in charge, taking his place for six months.
Sliding one folder over on the table in the small meeting room, Sir Edwin began. "In July, Abu Qatada according to news tabloids; was deported to Jordan in order to face his charges of terrorism. The Dyfed-Powys police force reached out to our Ministry of Defence to investigate further into the handful of soldiers dying at Brecon Beacons. The House of Lords have approved same sex marriages; it was originally going to be eleven but twenty hospitals are being built and spread across the country due to major failings in areas MP's are lacking on; David Cameron has finally seen sense to say to the public that the possession of online material depicting rape will be illegal in the UK and Wales. In August, fifteen tons of blockage was removed from the river Thames after someone from higher background deduced that if it wasn't seen to, ninety-five percent of the blockage would send raw sewage spurting in manhole covers. Interest rates from the Bank of England have been kept the same until unemployment rates decrease under seven percent. MP Caroline Lucas and her son are now in prison due to illegally drilling for oil in West Sussex..."
Mycroft watched in mild surprise and pure fascination as he listened and learned about everything Elina had looked over and had her say in, in order to make sure the countries way of living ran smoothly without the eyes, ears or voice of himself. "At the start of December, Elina worked with Theresa May in order to approve by the House of Commons and Lords for the law to be tougher sentences such as death sentences for prisoners charged of human trafficking, rape or anything akin to it and first degree murderers and Denis MacShane, the MP, was arrested for fraud."
Drawing the line up of Elina's work and ruling, he then smiles. "She's done well, Mycroft. Truly well." Sir Edwin emphasised. "Her insights and way of coming up with alternatives is impressive. Dare I push it but I'd say you have competition if Elina realises her truest potential. She is Misses British Government after all." He finished whilst looking ahead of himself.
"I'm sorry, Misses British Government?" Mycroft paid attention to repeat. "Yes, when she's not running around to be the secret service or the puppet master to the prime minister." Sir Edwin provided. "In conclusion, no wars have started, no rebellions have occurred and even Lady Smallwood and her assistant Vivian have remained silent in matters no longer spouting opinions that aren't needed or necessary." Sir Edwin finished. "I can send over the full database of everything Xena has done, I'm sure you want to get down to business and to the usual of things." He summarised not wanting to have anymore of his time.
"Thank you, Edwin." Mycroft smiled thinly before collecting the file and briskly leaving.

"Come in." Elina's voice spoke in a sort of lightness just as she stopped typing and looked directly to her office door opening. "Oh, hey." She smiled in delight to Mycroft before shutting her laptop down and preparing a cup of herbal tea for him.
