Mycroft and Elina talked briefly about their options and she had decided to have what was called the surgical management straight away rather than waiting any further. So as they set foot on British soil, Gordon an older but faithful chauffeur drove the pair to the hospital so Elina could undergo surgery and Mycroft could have his wound checked over and be given tablets to keep the pain at bay.

If the obvious wasn't happening Elina may of thought over the fact of how she had missed seeing Gordon. Instead however she sat in the back of the car with a head turned down in her lap.

Elina was in an area of numbness as she drifted up and down halls of the hospital. She was refusing to go any further with her problem until Mycroft was checked over and re-plastered. The moment he walked back into the hallway, she stopped her pacing to look directly at him as she held her arms around herself.

He didn't say anything because he was anxious of saying the wrong thing to her and it didn't necessarily matter now how they were partially in a public place excluding the agents that secured the building because he walked straight to her and wrapped his arms around her form. It was quite obvious to him that her mind was on auto-pilot because she, just as much as him, were unable to process the events unfolded by force.

"Please forgive me." Elina stated in an unclear tone. Mycroft hummed in an attempt to excuse what she was saying and pulled back from her in order to cup her face. "We'll talk more after all this is over. Is that alright?" He stated and questioned carefully. Elina thought about it for a moment before nodding slowly.

Walking together to the consultation room, a Doctor greeted them both as he stood. "Mister Holmes and Miss Hooper." Gesturing for them to take a seat, he began. "I'm sorry for what you have discovered and will be going through." He shared freely before typing on his computer to bring Elina's documents up on screen.

Doctor Moore talked about what the surgery would include and offer as well as allowing Elina to choose how she would like to be put under. She had decided that she wanted to have the general anaesthetic rather than local because she'd rather be asleep than numbed and live through everything going on.

"I'm sorry to be haste but can we just get on with it?" Elina rushed out whilst reaching beside her to grip Mycroft's hand. "Yes, of course, Miss Hooper." The Doctor smiled before signing her over to a surgeon and commencing operation.

During the interval timing of Elina having the operation, Mycroft sat in the hallway and watched as his finger itched over his mother's phone number. Hesitating, he pressed onto it and brought the phone up to his ear waiting for his mother to answer. "Hello?"

"Hi mummy." He drew out quietly with a head tipped down in defeat. "Son, what's wrong?"

"I know you and father are in London but I was wondering if you could come to the hospital... Please." He heard a quiet chatter from her side of the phone before she spoke up. "We're on our way." With that she put the phone down and Mycroft twisted uncomfortably in his chair as he began feeling pain in his shoulder blade.
