Third POV

"Thanks for letting me stay the night here, Allison." Ziggy said as they sat on the couch, "Your always welcome here, Ziggy plus it's good to have company here with Maya and Nick now in the Police Academy it gets lonely being here." Allison tells her.

It has been two months since Maya and Nick have joined the Police Academy but to Ziggy and Allison it feels like a lifetime. They both missed Maya and Nick though Ziggy would not admit but she did miss Nick. Since the two were gone Allison would frequently come over to the Berman House and spend time with Ziggy and Cindy but with Ziggy more since Cindy had a job but when she had off days it would be the three-spending time together.

"Do you think tonight Andrew is actually going to propose to Cindy?" Allison asked curious. It came as a shock to Ziggy when Cindy told her she is in a relationship with an internship doctor that she met when she was in the hospital. The two stayed in contact even when Cindy was released from the hospital. Cindy did not tell Ziggy because she wanted to make sure her and Andrew relationship was heading somewhere so she could tell Ziggy and also introduce Andrew to Ziggy. He even met Allison and Maya, the two plus Ziggy threatened him that if he hurt Cindy, he would regret it. Ziggy will admit at first, she was skeptical of Andrew, but she could see how happy he made Cindy, so she gave him a chance and as she got to know him more, she viewed him as a brother. Ziggy remembered when he asked for her blessing to propose to Cindy, and she said yes. Andrew even asked for Allison and Maya blessing as well knowing how much Cindy cares for the two.

"Well, the past two times he couldn't because something always happened before he could but since the two are having dinner at the house with no distractions, I think tonight the night." Ziggy told her the two expected Cindy to either call them tonight after he proposes or the next day.

Ziggy looks at the wedding photo of Allison and her husband. Ziggy never asked about Maya's dad nor did Maya mention him except for the one time they played 21 questions. She knew it was a sensitive topic, so she never did bring him up.

"You and Maya remind me so much of myself and Rick when we first started dating." Allison blurted out. Whenever she saw Ziggy and Maya together Allison was reminded of hers and Rick relationship when they first started dating how innocent their relationship was before he told her the truth.

"Really?" Ziggy asked in disbelief, "I'm a Shadysider and Maya's a Sunnyvaler I don't see how Maya and I remind you of Rick and yourself."

"Well one of the reasons is because the Goode's have a thing for falling for Shadysiders." Allison revealed Ziggy eyes widened in shock at what Allison said, "Wa- wait are you a-"

Allison nodded, "I'm a Shadysider. I was born in Shadyside but raised in Sunnyvale."

Ziggy was dumbfounded at this unexpected news that Allison told her.

"My dad was from Sunnyvale and my mom was from Shadyside the two met in Camp NightWing and became friends that led to the two dating but the two kept their relationship a secret it wasn't until my mom found out that she was pregnant with me that the two had no choice but to reveal they are dating." Allison tells Ziggy.

"I'm guessing your dad's parents didn't take the news well since you were born in Shadyside not Sunnyvale." Ziggy said and Allison solemnly nodded, "My dad's parents disowned and kicked him out of the house and he went to live with my mom's family they accepted him into the family and were supportive of my parents. It wasn't until my great grandmother died that my dad was told she left him money in her Will it was plenty of money for them to leave Shadyside and move to Sunnyvale and so I was raised in Sunnyvale but despite being raised in Sunnyvale I still felt like a Shadysider, and I didn't mind because that was where I came from."
