Alive Or Dead

Third POV

Nick continues to shake Maya trying to wake her up but she was still unconscious.

"Sorry Maya but this is the only way I can think of that will wake you up." Nick says he raises his hand and slaps Maya hard on the cheek.

"Owww what the fuck Nick!" Maya exclaimed pushing Nick away and rubbing her cheek that is stinging from the hard slap.

Nick sighs in relief, "You weren't waking up I didn't have any water to wake you up so I had to slap you." He said and then winced.

I looked at his leg that was bleeding that he got from Tommy when he pushed-

"ZIGGY!" I shouted and used the wall as support to help me stand up.

"You stay here I'm going to find Ziggy." I tell him Nick shook his head, "No I'm coming with-"

"Nick you're leg hurt you'll just slow me down. Stay here hidden." I tell him and run out the cabin in search for Ziggy and Cindy. I ran but couldn't find them till I heard faint screaming I ran towards the direction it was coming from. I arrived only to see two bodies laying on the grass.

"Please don't let it be Ziggy and Cindy." I prayed as I ran towards the bodies to see it was Ziggy and Cindy with slashes on their chests and blood. I go to Ziggy side and kneel down I pushed down on her chest in attempt to get her breathing again.

"C'mon Ziggy wake up. Please come back. Don't leave me." I pleaded tears in my eyes.

I continue giving her CPR refusing to believe she's dead. I repeatedly continued until I heard the sound of gasping and Ziggy coughing. I sighed in relief at the sight of Ziggy alive. I immediately go to Cindy and repeat what I did to Ziggy.

"Cindy wake up, you can't leave Ziggy. She needs her sister." I whispered.

Just as I'm about to give her CPR again Cindy eyes open and she starts coughing. I look over at Ziggy and see her eyes closed I panicked thinking she's gone but it goes away when I see her chest rising and falling.

The EMT finally arrive and put Ziggy and Cindy onto a stretcher.

Ziggy POV

I open my eyes to see blue and red sirens I look to my left side and see Maya and Nick sitting in the back of an ambulance talking to each other. Maya looks over Nick shoulder her eyes widened when she sees that am awake.

"Ziggy!"

She runs towards me and cups my cheek.

"Thank god you're awake." She said smiling.

A EMT approached us.

"Hey what's you're name?" He asked me.

"Ziggy."

"Her name is Christine. Christine Berman." Maya answered not taking her eyes off of me.

"Where's my sister? Where's Cindy?" I asked scared that Cindy didn't make it, "She's alive the ambulance took her to the hospital." Maya tells me I sighed in relief that Cindy alive.

I grabbed Maya hand tightly, "It was her. Sarah Fier, the witch. The curse it's... it's real." I frantically told her.

Maya opens her mouth to reply but then closes her mouth and looks away.

"Maya please say you believe me."

Maya looks at me, "Yeah I believe you, Ziggy. But let's focus on getting you to the hospital." Maya says in a calming tone.

Nick POV

I watch as Maya gets in the back of the ambulance with Ziggy. Before the EMT closes the back of the ambulance door Maya looks at me and nods confirming what I asked her before she ran towards Ziggy is true.

The ambulance drives off to the hospital.

Officer Kapinski approached me.

"What the hell happened here?" He asked me, "Tommy Slater. He went crazy." I replied.

"Fucking Shadysider." He said and walked away.

I knew the truth of the Goode family history because Maya trusted me that she told me what her father told her before he died. As much as Maya and I hate what our family has done to Shadysiders it needs to be done for Sunnyside to get better and better. Unfortunately theirs nothing we can do to change what has happened. We come from the Goode family and the family legacy needs to be continued.

Maya POV

I followed the nurse as she led me to Ziggy room. We stopped at the end of the hall and she opened the door I slowly walked in and gasped at the sight of Ziggy. I watch as the nurse checks on Ziggy who is unconscious and had a tube covering her mouth, a IV needle in her arm, and her skin was pale from the amount of blood loss she lost from the slashes she received in the chest from the past Shadyside killers.

The nurse leaves the room closing the door behind her leaving me alone with Ziggy. I grabbed a chair and move it to Ziggy bedside and sit down. I grabbed Ziggy hand and squeezed her hand hoping for her to squeeze my hand back but it didn't happen.

"I'm so sorry Ziggy... I never meant for this to happen to you and Cindy..." I apologized gently kissing her hand and then her forehead, "This is all my fault."

I couldn't kill Cindy off she didn't deserve to die at all😭 Will now be writing bonus chapters of what happened after the massacre and then onto part 3 which will be my favorite to write
