Awake

Ziggy POV

I felt someone gently shake me and say my name. I lift my head and rub my eyes. I look up and see its Maya.

"Hey sleepy head." Maya says as I rub my eyes and stretch "When did you get here? And where's Allison?" I ask, noticing that Allison isn't in the room with us.

"I think around 2 and my mom and Nick left she had to drive Nick home." Maya tells me as she kisses my cheek and sits in the couch beside me, "My mom told me that you and her talked."

"I was surprised that she came to visit and cared how Cindy is doing. I honestly thought she wouldn't care after you told her the truth of where you'll go after school was over, but your mom does care about me and Cindy. And that she wants to help us anyway that she can. I can see were you got your compassionate from." I said.

"As well as your stubbornness." I added making Maya chuckle.

"Very funny, Berman this coming from the most stubborn girl I ever met." Maya remarked smirking, "I'm not stubborn." I replied disagreeing with Maya.

"Oh, so should I use the word hardheaded?" Maya jokingly asked, "Haha your hilarious." I sarcastically reply rolling my eyes.

Maya responded by pulling me towards her and hugging me, "Honestly that's one of the things I lov-like about you." Maya admits and I furrow my eyebrows.

"Was Maya going to say love?" I thought to myself.

Third POV

Ziggy decided it was best to just ignore it, maybe she just misheard Maya.

"I like how you're not willing to change your opinion, how you don't back down from a challenge, aren't afraid to stand up for yourself, and protective of the people you care about."

Maya is responded by Ziggy kissing her on the lips Maya returns the kiss both girls feeling the electric spark they felt whenever the two kiss. Maya pulls away and kisses Ziggy forehead, cheeks, and nose making Ziggy giggle at the affection Maya shows her. Maya smiles at the sound of Ziggy giggle.

Maya and Ziggy were busy talking to each other that neither noticed Cindy slowly opening her eyes and taking in her surroundings. Cindy hears two familiar voices talking and sees it's Maya and Ziggy.

"Zig... Ziggy?" Cindy said. Her throat was sore and her voice barely audible. Ziggy and Maya look up and see Cindy is now awake.

"Wha? Cindy!" Ziggy stood up from the couch and rushed to Cindy's side. "You're awake!" Ziggy happily said tears in her eyes at the sight of her sister finally awake. Maya rushes out of the room to go find a doctor and tell them Cindy is awake.

Ziggy smiled and bend down to hug Cindy but made sure not to hug her too tight because of Cindy wounds.

"Your okay, Ziggy?" Cindy asked as Ziggy pulled away Ziggy nodded, "Yeah I'm okay... were both okay now."

Cindy and Ziggy smile tears falling down their eyes and hug each other again.

"Nothing will pull us apart."

"Never again."

Cindy is now awake. I was planning on keeping her on a coma for the rest of part 2 and you'll see Cindy awake in part 3 but I decided to change it. Few more chapters till we get to Part 3 we're new oc characters will be introduced. Also I will be writing the crossover book it will be called Fear Hawkins.
