ziggy hendrix has known nothing outside of her home planet dermetris, until ronan the accuser invades her home planet, setting off ziggy's radioactive powers and destroying her entire planet.
being arrested by nova corps was never in ziggy's line of future — she's always envisioned herself becoming Queen, not becoming friends with a group of hooligans with plenty of mental issues and helping them break out to see her freedom.
but ziggy eventually becomes fond of the group, through many life and death situations. while she finds friends and a new family in the group she also finds love; with the unhinged and chaotic ex-ravenger peter quill.
yeah, she never would have predicted this life for her in a million years, but she'd never trade being a guardian of the galaxy for anything else.
